The glow is spectacularly beautiful, just exquisite. I can't say enough good things about this. I ordered some other salt lamps (the loose rocks in the wire basket) and set them all over my apartment, then this order arrived about a week later and once I set it up, it blew the others away and I really wished I'd just ordered a bunch of THIS bowl instead. It's just beyond. Also unlike the other salt lamps I ordered which were so poorly packaged it was really a miracle to me that any of them arrived intact, this bowl was VERY well packaged with layers and layers of protection so you will get it in one piece, and the bulb is separate so it's safe from shattering if the box and salt rocks get dropped or shift along the way.The combination of the carved salt bowl, the red bulb, and the loose salt rocks piled on top is really the best possible way to take full advantage of the beautiful properties of the color and glow of light through this mineral.

The warm glow in the room and the energy it clears makes this a wonderful gift for yourself or others. Also, this vendor is wonderful. I got a call soon after ordering and they asked if I wanted to add a dimmer and extra bulbs to my order. I didn't know I could get a dimmer and I thought I needed to order extra bulbs from somewhere else. It was a very kind thing to do and I greatly appreciate it. The dimmer is wonderful.

This salt bowl lamps is beautiful, the color is this nice orange which fills the whole room. And the good part is I sleep much better!!!No pills, only a salt lamp!!

I didn't know it didn't have a dimmer switch. That would have made it perfect.

Quality of salt:uniform color,socket for bulb is steel,comes wrappedagainst humidity, size of the bowl plenty of rocks I highly recommend this lamp.
