Honda 35855-TK8-A01 Bulb (Genuine OEM Part) w/ MTS Branded Black Flat Head Screwdriver

Well, at first I wondered why Honda used a light like a fuse for the parking system, then realized that it’s easy to fix, you know that it’s not working because it doesn’t light up, and there it is… Fixing the light took about two minutes with a YouTube video and having this bulb in hand, so I am happy with that. The one thing that you’ll need is a larger flat-head screwdriver, as the one in the package (and shown here in the picture) doesn’t fit in the groove on the light. It does, but turning it doesn’t do anything. Again, a flat-head screwdriver will get the old one out and the new one in. Using this, as opposed to the other packages of bulbs gives me confidence that the problem is fixed. Sure, there are 6, 8, 12 packs of these type bulbs, but having a genuine Honda part to put in for this price, after having the car for 8 years is pretty inexpensive.

Works as advertised when following youtube directions. Takes about 3 minutes or less. Saves at least $75 from having the dealer or your mechanic doing it where you also have to leave your car until they get to it.

Replacing the bulb resolved my “check parking sensor system” error. The tool is small and flimsy and did not work to remove the dash piece, however, I was able to access the switch from underneath to pop it out without removing the dash piece. Switched out in 10 minutes. Really happy with this easy, affordable option to fix my sensor system!

The bulb was exactly like the one I pulled out from my Odyysey. It fixed my parking sensor problem for half a day then burned out again. Not sure if that’s a way to protect the parking sensor system but something else is burning out those bulbs. Just seems like a poor design by Honda to be considering the cost of a light bulb.

This is probably the easy fix to avoid the expensive repair charges which includes the huge labor charge associated with every car problems. This product is very easy to install and fix the warning light which triggers when the bulb is out. Just wanted to let everyone know this light bulb produces white light not the green as the OEM/ or the one came with the vehicle but it does the job.

Used this to replace burnt out parking sensor light on 2014 Odyssey. Easy replacement, and error msg has gone away from dash. Yes, color is different than OEM but it doesn’t matter. It fixed the issue.

Please do not take it to the dealer right away until you try this. Simple fix and cost is minimal vs taking it to the dealer. They even provide little tiny screw driver that does the job. From taking the panel out and installing it. The part looks genuine honda packaging.
