Look good and are plenty solid.

This is my 4th purchase over more than 16 years of buying these mats from Pimpernel. They are a composite wood with cork backing. Great mat for table. Each lasted 4 years with kids in house. I love the variety of designs and easy to wipe clean.

Products made well and sturdy.Only small issue is the grease mark - hard to wash clean

I thought these were high quality because I have a set of cork backed ones that lasted for years. I bought TWO sets of these and am very, very careful about wiping them gently and I have the same problem other people reported about the edges getting the smallest amount of moisture on them and it left a stain. This was with the first use! I love the design but they must be made with a thin paper beneath the coating for this to happen. I am so unhappy!

Beautiful pattern and durable material

The media could not be loaded. I’m using these for my winter placemats and they are perfect for when the grandkids come over I can just wipe them off and they look nice

I replaced some cheap holiday cork-backed placemats with these and the quality difference is apparent - weight, shine, colors… these are heads above in quality. And, so pretty.
