What Is a Biome? (Science of Living Things)

My 6 yo poured over this time and again on a road trip ( we drove to a different biome). Info on flora and fauna components and how they are impacted by each biomes weather.

This is an awesome book, Just what I needed for my class to read. I am doing a unit on biomes and this book hits the spot. It is informative and gives just the tight amount of information without being overbearing for the students in my class. I would recommend this to anyone that is going to research biomes or to have your kids read. Pictures are superb.

It's ok. I found the content organization a little confusing. There is not a complete and concise definition of biome. The types of biomes are discussed, but the information is not presented in the simplest, most easily understandable way. It's a little jumbled.

This book on biomes is a very good introduction for younger and older children. The words were simple and made understanding biomes make sense.

Great resource for teaching summary writing with engaging text.

A great overview of each biome. It was perfect as a reference for our class project; very understandable and user friendly.
