Looks great, Requires some work and extra parts
I have 2013 R1 and this fender eliminator looks amazing. I got the carbon fiber one and it looks perfect. The lights all worked well as well (once issues were resolved). There are a few issues however that you may run into and cause you to do a little more manual labor than other kits. One issue is that the top could be about 1/4in longer as it barely reaches the back two screws in the fully back position with the front screw. Here are the list of things that I had to do to get this to work:-You'll need (3) #6 Metric nuts, the existing bracket is not easily removed and I opted to buy the nuts for $1 at Home Depot instead of struggling with it. Take the screw to the hardware store and find which nut fits.-You will need to cut the existing license plate light cable and splice together the new cable. I used quick disconnect ends and crimped then on each of the 4 cables. It's far too difficult to reach where the existing butt connectors are, so just cut it from oem fender.-The wire connectors on the turn signals are too large. And on that, you need new wiring harnesses as well. Sadly these aren't sold individually. The Yamaha store near me had a front turn signal kit that comes with two extra harnesses and extra ends for the wires that you can crimp on to fit into the wire harness. This kit is about $60, but I planned on eventually swapping out my front turn signals for flush mount ones anyway, so I wasnt to upset. But if you just need to extra parts....this might be costly. With all that said, once you get all the wiring work done, and get it on the bike, it looks amazing and works.Eventually the turn signals won't be needed as I forsee myself getting the integrated taillight. So before you feel like going through all the work I did...if you plan on getting the integrated taillight, get it at the same time as this so you won't need any extra parts except for the nuts.

A good fender eliminator kit
A quality product for the money. The installation is easy and only takes about an hour. Fit and finish are good. The bracket itself is metal not cheap plastic. The paint looks nice, I would recommend going with the black color option however. The blue I purchased does not match the dark blue/purple oem color. However know where in the ad does the seller guarantee paint match and honestly it doesn't bother me that much to begin with so its minor in my opinion but if you want exact color matching you'll need to have it painted. The plate light is decent and the wires are plenty long enough to cut to size. The blinker included with this kit are decent. I would recommend extending the leads 6" to 12" prior to install as this makes reaching the blinker connection under the driver seat easier.Shipping was quicker then expected, kit arrived sooner than estimated delivery date so thats always a plus.

Works for 2012 Yamaha R1
With this product you get more than what you pay for.Included was the fender eliminator, two turn signals and a tag light, all LED.The quality of this thing is amazing. VERY VERY solid fender. The R1 logo is cut perfect as well. Very sharp and nothing that screams "cheap" if you know what I mean.I did not install this however the person who did said it was very easy. He removed the seat and rear paneling(the top piece that surrounds the real cowl.). Whether or not you have to remove yours is beyond me, however he did mine.Additional items you may need are four bolts, nuts, and washers, as well as electrical tape and soldering wire if you mind wrapping your wires with just the tape.ONE tiny complain I have are the three LED lights for the tag light are bright due to the tips of each light showing (due to how the fender's slanted.). They can be seen well to cars behind you. Now I do not mind this but a cop having a bad day might. Coloring the tips with a black Sharpie could fix the problem but again it's entirely up to you.I have included some pictures of the fender.

custom fit
I really liked the color match. The color was a perfect match to my bike. I also like the R1 logo. It looks like it came on the bike as original equipment. My bike was stolen, so I had to by another R1. This one was White and candy red. I went right back and bought another one. The one I bought came with 4 LED turn signals, from the same company. I would recommend this to anyone. Be careful with the 3 screw adapter. You should lightly screw in all three screw before you tighten any of them. I used black electrical tape on the back to keep the wires out of sight. Also for the front turn signals I only used 2 wires, so they don't stay on all the time. They only come on when the turn signal is activated. Do not tape spices until you check the signal function.
