The price is comparable to Penzey's. We were able to do a taste test between the 2 and we both like this one better. It has a very rich and fresh taste. It's definitely hot, which we enjoy. I would recommend, for sure.

If you like or love hot and spicy, then this might be right up your alley. This stuff is definitely my jam!!!! I love the heat it brings to my goulash and spaghetti sauces. We mainly use it to make 3 cheese stuffed shells. It brings the sauce for them to another level. I love this stuff, second time buying it, wo t be the last.

Freshly smoked taste.

After I ran out of the paprika I brought back from Europe last fall, could not seem to find more of this - paprika that is both hot AND smoked is very difficult to find. This product fits the bill! Very versatile, can be used on many different foods. Definitely a winner!

Not actually that hot, but adds a great depth of flavor to everything I’ve used it in. Worth the price.
