I was blown away by the improved sound quality, particularly on two records: "The Wild & the Innocent" and "Nebraska." I had bought the box sets for Born to Run, Darkness, & The River and had been impressed with those remasters. I believe that these are still the same, which were still huge improvements over the original sound quality. I read it in another review and was in disbelief when I first heard it on the remaster. There is actually a car horn blowing on the first line sung of "Incident on 57th Street." I originally bought that CD in 1990 and never heard this before the remix. The bass, high hat, and over drum quality sound is just night and day on the remasters. The homemade "Nebraska" is even more haunting, with much less hiss than the original. I sincerely hope Springsteen's engineer is hard at work on the "Nebraska/Born in the USA" box. These albums were essentially cut at the same time and it would be great to hear the E Street Band's attempts at electrifying the Nebraska songs. As an added bonus to the music is the packaging. The minute details that went into this is to be commended. Including the River booklet, the BITUSA lyric sheet, & the album sleeve pics are all exact replications. Then there is the added scrapbook, which has articles from newspapers, magazines, album & concert reviews, ticket stubs, etc. It's a bonus gem. When this set came out in 2014, I balked because of the price. But with the River a double record, I was more than content to pay $107 for 8 LPs. Most record stores and online sites sell the River for $35-$45 alone. Review: MUST HAVE FOR BRUCE FANS!!! - An absolute great box set for any Bruce fan. I have some older pressings of these albums and the first thing I did was compare the mastering of this box set to those original pressing (that were in NM condition). I started by comparing the song Dancing In The Dark on both lps. The remastering in this box set certainlly has a better seperation and a much more clear and firm low end. They are pressed on very heavy vinyl too which I totally love and explains those heavier tone. The Booklet is pretty amazing too. It's designed like a scrap book that Bruce's mom might have been keepin over all the early years of his career. It is really cool. GREAT set to own. Make sure you shop around though. So many are overpriced. You should not pay more than 140ish for this set. I do hope their is a vol II starting with Tunnel Of Love and doing the next 5 albums.

Wow!!! Far Exceeded my expectations!!
Very very impressed!! The vinyl box set if FIRST class!! Very, very well packaged!! Sound is fantastic, not quite a MOFI pressing as I can hear noise between tracks but very light. Asbury park is a joy to listen to, never heard like this. Haven’t been through all albums, but I’m sure I’ll be impressed. The book it came with is amazing, super high quality. Looks like news clippings and scotch tape from the ‘70’s which is super cool. Great reading the articles from way back also. This is a must have, very happy with it!! Super well done, read crappy reviews on CD box set but thst is so far from what you get here in vinyl. Get it!

Bruce in all his glory.
This really exceeded my expectations. The albums retain the old sound yet the little nuances of the original recordings are brought to the forefront here. Very happy with each of the albums, and Bruce's work lives on in an impressive box set. The set includes very nice artwork along with a sleeve for each album. Great presentation and highly recommend this to any Bruce fan or music lover in general. You will be very happy with this product.

The only Boss I listen to is Springsteen.
Awesome set. The case is great and will look good on your shelf, the remasters sound crisp. Comes with a digital download code too. Highly recommended for any Boss fan.

6 Great Albums on Vinyl
I already have these albums on vinyl, but the sound of this set is amazing. It includes Bruce's first six albums, which in my opinion are his six best. Really nice packaging and a good value.

Great Remasters
The remastering is amazing. It works better on some albums over others. There is a noticeable difference on Nebraska especially and on The River. The booklet is also well designed and put together.

Great - sounds amazing
Great - sounds amazing, especially the 1st two albums and Nebraska. The rest was already fantastic, but 180 gram vinyl has made other albums sound out of this world

For an artist with a forty-decade career, Bruce Springsteen is someone who still has lots to offer, still has something to say, and still knows how to say it with fire, passion and skill - and there's still room for a smile or two along the way. Like many artists, though, it's his early work that most fans gravitate towards. This set - a big box set containing his eight albums from 1973 through to 1983 on heavyweight vinyl, with faithfully reproduced sleeves and newly remastered sound - is a wonderful way to savour and enjoy those albums on which his reputation is founded. the debut 'Greetings From Asbury Park, NJ' is flawed, overly wordy in places, and, the times being what they were, led to his being described as the 'New Dylan' (there were many 'New Dylans' at the time). One of the nice little touches to this is the reproduction of the old CBS 'Inner Sleeve' record bag with advert pieces for other CBS releases. 'Born To Run' was his first classic, but 'Darkness in The Edge of Town' is the real gem - downbeat in places, but containing many gems. 'The River' is perhaps overly long, and 'Born In The USA' has the crashing drums which marred many 1980s album productions, but the strength of the songs is there to behold. And 'Nebraska' is as spooky and haunted as ever. Well worth the money, lovely pressings - fine music given the respectful treatment it warrants.

Greetings〜。 The Wild〜。 Born To Run。 Drakness〜。 The River。 Nebraska。 Born In〜。

Absolutely love the concept of this box and the albums look and feel lovely. My only issue is the box was delivered damaged and the album sleeves inside had scuff marks on. Clearly wasn’t a new copy and must have been returned before. Only option I have is for a full refund as they don’t have a replacement. Shoddy experience for an expensive item.
