I wore these shoes to an outdoor party and danced all day and night. They underwent rain, paint and powder and I was able to clean them and they are like new after. They were very comfortable and looked sexy on my feet. I was able to secure my money and keys in the side zip. Will definitely get in other colors.

Ok, so it has been alittle while since I have had these. As in a few months. At first I praised these boots. Cheap price but well made and comfortable. If you follow my reviews, I tell the absolute truth. At first, these were cheaply priced. Well made and comfortable. They are not cheap anymore, the price has gone way up. Though they are comfortable, they are indeed poorly made. Now, I've seen the other reviews about the soles separating from the actual boot and ive seen the pictures of alot of the boots in question and most look as if they were sent to war. So i figured, meh, I will order these. I'm not hard on my boots or shoes. I own dozens of pairs of shoes and boots that at most with in a few months , I might have wore them...maybe 6-7 times. Well, 7 was the magic number and sure enough, on my right boot, the heel separated. I have a desk job. 85 percent of my week is sitting. At my desk. On the bus. Come home, they come off and placed back in the box after a wipe off. I'm sorry, when these are on the feet of someone that literally makes a living sitting at a desk, at a computer, with 85 percent of her day and week sitting , with a collective total of less the a quarter of a mile of walking to and from the bus. Around my office and from the bus to my home and my heel still comes off, thats poorly made. I now understand everybody expressing concern for these boots and their quality. The only reason they still receive a two star rating is because of how cute they are in style and they "WERE" amazingly comfortable. Past that, build quality is absolutely horrendous. Avoid. When the same problem is presented multiple times, you can begin to believe the hype or negative hype. These boots are basically designed to fail. Do not waste your money. Better options are out there. cheap, decent and affordable prices. 2 stars!! Thumbs down. Will provide pics once I dig these boots out of my winter storage box.

Bought these for my daughter and the cuff started to fray within the first 2 days, by 10 days there were gaping holes on both boots. She doesn't usually have a problem with destroying the sides of footwear so I have no idea what happened. We returned them.

I bought these boots when I left a shorter version of them at home only to be surprised by a blizzard. Needless to say, I was already very satisfied with the style.They are surprisingly light for such a well-designed snow/rain boot and I had seriously considered bringing my shorter boots with me. However, I almost completely filled one suitcase with 8 $30 electronic toys which were on sale for $5 at Walmart and had no room to pack them. The weather was warm and fair when I left and I had no intention of wearing them for a 3 hour drive and then a 2 1/2 flight when I didn't have to.As I said before, this pair is taller than my other pair, which gives even more protection than the other pair. They are roomy enough to provide the airspace needed for insulation from the cold. They are watertight enough even without added reinforcement. The knitted tops also help keep out deep snow and allow little cold air inside.They are easy to get on and off because they have zippers along the inseams. The lacing allows you to fit the boots to your personal proportions. They are comfortable, partly due to their light weight. However, if going on a long hike, I advise ensuring that they are laced welll enough to provide good support and do not allow the foot to slide around inside them,I have lived in northeast Iowa for over 20 years now. For people who are not familiar with this part of the country, we tend to have brutally cold and windy winters with a good amount of ice and a moderate amount of snow.I grew up in a very warm part of the country and have spent almost 40 years since then in cold climates. This is the first pair of boots I've found which provide good protection from snow and ice.Considering the price of most high quality winter boots, these are a bargain. They might not go with evening wear, but they look nice enough to wear along with casual or sport wear.

Love these boots, they fit perfectly. Some reviews say that they ran small, so I was going to order a size up and get an 11 but that size isn't carried, so I bought a 10 and hoped it would fit. I'm glad now that I didn't buy an 11, the 10 fits perfectly.The only thing is that on my second day wearing them, I noticed that the sweater cuff was starting to unravel some, but it was an easy fix, I just tied the threads and snipped it close to the cuff.The pocket is a nice size, my small pocket knife fits perfectly in it and doesn't bulge out or feel uncomfortable against my leg, but it was a bit difficult to put in and awkward to pull out, but the pocket is a good size to put important things like ID or credit cards in, things that might get stolen if your purse or wallet was snatched or forgotten.

I've been wearing them for a day and can already tell the knit top is going to come unravelled within a week. I'd rather try to solve the problem than have to pay for shipping to return it, but I'm really disappointed and would not suggest you buy these without knowing ahead of time. Everything else about them has been really awesome, I like the fit, the pocket can hold a crescent wrench (which was one of the biggest selling points for me, needed a pocket for when I wear yoga pants to work), the color is beautiful, and I'm confident once I break them in they will be super comfortable. The knit top fraying is so ugly and for it to happen so quickly after I paid a lot for the shoes is upsetting. Don't know what I'm going to do but I'm hoping to maybe wax coat them or something.

The canvas exterior has crooked stitching, with the edges frayed right out the box, and visible bits of glue on the seams. The zippers do work, and the pocket is big enough for a credit card or even a big laminated corporate ID badge. Cool concept. They are very lightweight boots that I wouldn't expect to last long. I can't speak to the fit, as they sent me a pair three sizes smaller than I ordered, and in the wrong colour.
