Dark Goddess Oracle Cards

If you are like me and your Matron Goddess is on the darker side and rarely represented in tarot and oracle, then these are your cards! I am sure you will find her in here. Also, for the few cards I read, I am enjoying the aspect the creator chose to focus on. There is a short poem, a divinitory meaning and info about each Goddess. The best part is even if the book is not your cup of tea, the uses for this deck are endless. You could use your own personal knowledge of these goddess's to create your own style of reading the cards. You could use them as a study tool to help you study goddesses, they can be used as altar decoration to represent your goddess...and the list goes on.As for appearance, the cards are glossy but not terribly sticky, which is nice. I love the shiny silver gilt edges. The box is great, nice and sturdy and fits on my shelf nicely with all of the other oracles that come in similar packaging.Here is where it becomes a matter of personal taste. I LOVE some of the card images. And some I just don't. In fact my goddess, Hekate, is one I would have liked to see done a bit better. Aside from just an unappealing (to me) look, there is no obvious difference in Maiden, Mother and Crone aside for hair color. They are all very youthful. On the other hand, I LOVE the art on Kali, Lilith, Nyx ad many more. This will definitely be subjective.Over all I am absolutely thrilled to have this deck in my reading tool kit. As I said above, there is so many ways to use it. And I will be starting today!

This oracle deck is amazing! It really hits home with it’s messages and due to the brutal honesty of these cards, they aren’t for the faint of heart. In other words, if you want your messages sugar coated this isn’t the deck for you. These cards give off a feirce feminine energy. The artwork is exquisite. The artist created such gorgeous and detailed depictions of these goddesses which felt very respectful. The cards are also quite large. I compared the size with the well known Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards in one of my photos. This deck has the most powerful dark goddesses from some of the best mythologies across the world. For example, there is Jewish goddess Lilith, Hittite–Hurrian goddess Inara, Inuit goddess Sedna, Yoruba/West African goddess Oya, Greek goddess Hecate, Irish goddess Maeve, Hindu goddess Kali, and so on. They really included all the amazing dark goddesses and I have been able to learn of new ones, which is what I was hoping for.

This was the first deck I ever bought and the energy from these is electrifying. I love the cardstock with the silver gilding as well. They shuffle and hold up nicely to frequent use. Got this as a gift for a family member and they LOVED it!!

I primarily bought this deck for Maman Brigitte, which you usually can’t find in most goddess decks. Technically she and Erzulie are not goddesses but Lwa or spirits. I would recommend doing more research on each goddess/spirit as there is very little information written for each card, and then some of the descriptions are not completely accurate. The cards themselves are still beautiful and seem to capture the energy of most of the goddesses depicted. They are also very large and not heavy card stock so not sure how they’ll hold up over time or how well they’ll shuffle. They also may have limited use as an Oracle but would work well for those dealing with a difficult time who may need help from these ladies. Still, they are great additions to the other 3 goddess oracles I own, and I will definitely find a use for them.

These are beautiful and well made. The booklet that came with it is a little frail, but otherwise theses are wonderful cards

I absolutely love this deck. I have 7 oracle card decks and this is my favorite! I resonate with this deck and when I do readings for friends, it is always spot on! Definitely worth it. Absolutely worth it. The art work is equally amazing!

Gorgeous illustrations and info. A must if you are a fan of the darker goddesses but be prepared to look at aspects of yourself that you may not want too! That is what these cards are about. Helping us to face the darker sides of ourselves that need healing. These are not about "love and light". They are for those who want to do the "real" work and face the darker aspects of self.
