Avigo 14" Sapphire Bike, Pink

My wife wanted something “fuel-efficient” (with winks) for our anniversary so I bought her this lovely bike. Unfortunately, she didn’t like it and left it in the garage. I re-gifted it (like most office workers do) to my 5-year old daughter on her birthday and well, surprisingly, she liked it very much! She likes the pom-pom handles and the matching handle bar purse. I highly recommend to pre-schoolers who have better understanding of what fuel-efficient really means.

I'm sad to say this bike was a disappointment. I was so excited to get this bike for my daughter for her 5th birthday. It was perfect with the pink, streamers and front pouch. My husband started to set it up the night before her birthday and everything was frustrating. The bike was dinged up so much so that he asked me if it was a used bike. Then when he was trying to mount the tire, the grooves that the bolts where supposed to fit in were too small. He hammered trying to get them to the correct spot but nothing worked. So it was stuck; we couldn't get it back out and we couldn't get it all the way in. We didn't feel safe letting our daughter ride a bike that wasn't even assembled all the way. My husband woke up early the next day to go buy a different bike. It was frustrating and disappointing that the Avigo bike didn't work. We have returned it.

The handlebar bag did not come with the bike. One of the reasons we bought this bike is so she could have a place for her things while riding. Disappointing.

The bike looks great and seems well made. Disappointed I only received one training wheel.

The media could not be loaded.  So far it seems to be a great bike. Great price, pretty easy to put together, a little heavy but not too much for my just turned 4 year old. She loves it! She loves the colors and the pouch on the front and the streamers on the handle bars. She’s thrilled💗

I had to file the front forks as the front wheel would not fit. Once I did that the bike has worked great.
