oGoDeal Battery Replacement Compatible for iPhone 4 Model A1349 A1332

Unable to comment on battery life. Its a new freshly installed battery.

I still have my old iPhone 4, use it as an alarm clock with my favourite app. The phone sits on a docker so how long the battery holds is of no importance. But when I noticed the rear panel cracked open under the pressure of a swollen battery I got worried. This replacement kit has everything you will need, clear and easy to follow instructions (I watched and saved instructions I found on Youtube but didn't need it), tools, and of course the battery. All in all it took me about 10 minutes, the swollen battery needed to be pried out, but otherwise everything went smoothly. The battery wasn't glued in as I understand it's done in newer iPhones (have a guess why), so the process was simple. Very happy!

The kit includes everything you need to replace your iPhone battery. Six weeks after installation, the battery itself is performing very well; it holds its charge and performs like a new battery should. If you're comfortable with a screwdriver and working with small electronics parts, this is can add a little more life an old phone. (You might take a look at one of the many repair videos on the Internet to make sure you'll be comfortable doing the repair by yourself.)

Be very cautious about purchasing the oGoDeal replacement battery for iPhone 4. I followed the vendor's instructions to the letter: let the battery fully discharge 3 times and then fully charge the battery after each recharge. I noticed the battery was draining much too fast so turned off ALL apps on the phone and made sure it could not communicate via Bluetooth. With absolutely no phone usage (it was sitting on a table, turned off), the battery discharged about 30% in each 24-hour period; it was dead after 3 days. I tried contacting the vendor twice by email and got no response at all. Draw your own conclusions. Edited 11/17/21: Got a replacement battery and charged it after installing in the phone. The battery had a 94% charge when I turned it off for the evening and was totally dead the next morning. Tried to recharge it but it only got to 5% before stalling. Amazon came through with a good return procedure (twice) but the vendor continues to be a "no show." I reached out twice by email and received zero response from the vendor. Goes against the chatter in the instruction sheet (and the product description at Amazon) that the vendor would promptly respond to questions and concerns. Right.

Update:A second package was delivered the next day. It was complete (battery and various tools).1. I successfully replaced the old battery with instructions and tools provided.2. Battery already had a charge at 80%.I now revise my review to 4 stars. The one missing is for poor quality control (original used set sent to me as new).----------------------Item was delivered with missing tools. May have been previously returned without parts(?).

The battery arrived on time and was in good condition. The battery was easy to replace. The battery is a step up from the original Apple battery that was in my old iPhone 4 for over a decade but not by much. I think these batteries have been sitting around for a while so they also have a degraded battery life. The battery fits and works but it’ll only be a little better than the Original battery assuming the original worked. 3-4 hours of life if used lightly to moderately.

Comes with all the tools you need and more. I was easily able to repair my IPhone 5 battery.
