Great privacy and easy installation
I bought this for an entry door that had a long glass inlay and was covered with a mini blind. Due to constant opening and closing of the door the mini blind was getting damaged and dirty. I decided to remove the mini blind and use this to cover the glass. I was concerned about privacy and the ability for people passing by to see through the door at night when the lights were on inside. It turned out not to be an issue. It lets light in from outside during the day but doesn’t allow any visual peeping from outside at night. And it looks really good.

INGENIOUS! OPAQUE & COOLING, but allows bright light
If your suburban HOA is anything like mine, there are regulations for what you can put in a window. BUT THIS FILM LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE BLINDS - even my neighbor was incredulous that it was a film. Even better, I put this film on 14 east-facing windows that receive a lot of bright Texas light in the morning, heating up my entire house for the rest of the day. Since I installed the film, bright UV-filtered light still comes through, but THERE IS NO HEAT. My house remains about 10 degrees cooler all day - and I don't have streaks of sun shining through gaps in the blinds into my eyed and onto my computer screen. Everything is light and cheery, but cool and glare free. The film is 100% opaque. I put a bouquet of red-white-and-blue flowers and an American flag in the window 10 inches from the film - it was dim outside and I turned on the interior light. When I went outside to see if I could see anything 10 inches from the film, I could not see anything, not even an outline or a trace of the colors. (You can make out vague outlines of some things less than 10 inches from the film.) EXCELLENT PRODUCT. INGENIOUS PROBLEM SOLVER. Never stop making this film and never change the quality of the materials. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! An installation suggestion: Buy some inexpensive cardboard panels for school presentations and make a pattern of the area you want to cover. Double check the cardboard pattern against the window before you cut the film. Put the pattern on the film, make an outline with ball point pen or a fine-tip white board marker, then cut out exactly. DON'T FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS that say cut the film larger than the window and then trim any excess with an exacto knife. Exacto knives, razors and box cutters do not cut through this film well, creating jagged edges. For best results, CUT EXACTLY. Make sure you have a spray bottle of water with you and invest in a squeegee at least 7 inches wide - I bought one from the dollar store. You will drive yourself crazy trying to smooth out a large area with a little credit card.

Great products & Install tips
Product was delivered as described. Instructions were explained well. TIPS & TRICKS 1) USE LOTS OF WATER! The instructions emphasized using lots of water spray on the window. So I sprayed a ton of water on the 1st window I covered. The privacy blind went on so well and easy I thought I had done something wrong. On the 2nd window I didnt spray quite as much water on it because I thought I used an excessive amount of the 1st window and just got to carried away. Well, I had problems with the 2nd windows privacy blind not adhering properly and having way to many bubbles underneath. So I took the blind off sprayed an excessive amount of water onto the 2nd window (to the point water was puddling beneath the window) and the blind went on very nicely. 2) DON'T CUT EXACTLY TO SIZE BEFORE PUTTING BLIND ON WINDOW. When measuring out the blinds, I measured and then cut for both windows leaving at least 3/4 of an inch in excess in width and about 2 inches extra in length. 3) USE A CREDIT CARD TO "ADHERE" THE BLIND AGAINST THE WINDOW BY MOVING OUT ALL THE BUBBLES. 4) USE THE SAME CREDIT CARD (AN EXPIRED ONE) TO THEN PUSH THE BLIND'S EXCESSES SNUGLY INTO THE EDGES OF WHERE THE WINDOW MEETS WINDOW FRAME AND THEN HOLDING THE CREDIT CARD SECURELY AGAINST THE EDGES USE A BOX CUTTER TO CUT THE EXCESS OFF. MAKE SURE YOUR RAZOR BLADE IS SHARP AND YOU WILL GET AN EXCELLENT RESULT.

Not perfect, but good enough
We have a window in our shower. While this itself is weird, the blinds which cover the window are old and falling apart. Several pieces are broken and I just didn't feel comfortable in the shower. I bought this to cover the window--not entirely, as I wanted to be able to see out a little. It was not difficult to put on, but even using an old credit card to smooth out the bubbles, there were still some remaining. I followed all the instructions to the letter. I liked that I could trim the material and even make a pattern. It turned out pretty well overall.

Looks like real blinds!
I bought this for several reasons. #1 We have a lot of heat that comes in our front door, so I was looking for something to help block the heat in the summer, but still allow some light come thru. #2 Our front door is all glass, so anyone can see in. #3 we have a dog that barks at a blade of grass blowing in the wind. This item fit the bill. When looking in it looks like there really are blinds on the door and side panels. When outside, you can not see through at all. When I stand on the inside and someone is on the outside the most you can see if some fuzzy gray blob on the other side and vise versa. It is impossible for my dog to bark at everything on the other side of the door. I highly recommend this product. A few things to note on installation. Wet your door....A LOT. The more water on your glass, the better the film will stick. Once you get it started run your hand or squeegee down with it to keep bubbles out. When cutting the film to the size of your door DO NOT have too much extra to cut away on the sides. Manufacturer stated to have 1cm, I did 1 inch and had a hard time cutting. Do as mfg states and only cut a little away. It will make install so much easier. I plan on buying more and doing other areas.

works ok, looks nice and lets light in while having privacy.
easy to installed and look great. the only thing I will say is that my product came scratched in the middle. I did not notice until I had cut it and Installed it. It gives privacy and lets light in. I like it that it does not have glue so it is very easy to take off if you like.

Great product!!!
It’s a great product sticks great! At first, I could not get them to stick and was going crazy, but then I discovered that it had a very thin transparent film on the back that you cannot see and you wouldn’t know its there because you can’t see it. They did not give any information about it or instructions .… so once I peeled that thin film off, it’s stuck on like glue. Also, from the outside you cannot see in and from the inside, you can look in between the clear lines and see everything and it lets in light great product!! 🙂

BEWARE! The film does not stick!
I wanted to love this product so badly. I had already bought something similar from Home Depot and had to take it off, and trash it, as it did not work correctly either. So I'm actually out for buying two items to cover my door, and my door still remains uncovered. I'm so disappointed! First, the package arrived on time which was great. I think it was even early. I made sure I read the reviews and watched videos on installation. I bought a squeegee just for applying it. I measured and cut the film, making sure to leave space around the edges so that it didn't touch any part of the doorframe. It just sat on flat glass. I heavily sprayed water all over my glass door, after cleaning it VERY throughly. I put it up, and it looked so great, so I threw away the packaging. But I arrived to my office the next day, and I noticed the bottom was not adhering to the door. Nothing I tried would get it to stick. I have now redone the entire door six times in hopes of getting it to finally stick, but it will not. I think the bottom of the film is where the film was rolled up too tightly to be put in the tube for transport. That's the only thing I can think of. But it doesn't stick. And after a day, the entire panel is always lifted off the glass completely. I'm so disappointed! You can see in my photo if you look closely that the film is not sticking on the edges. In the second photo, I held the film down so you can see that it is NOT touching the side of the door in any way. If I cut it any more, people could see into my office, then what would be the point of the privacy film? Not that it would help it stick anyway. Ugh. I do not recommend this product in any way!
