African Animal Tales: Cross Crocodile

We started with this book line two years ago when I was TDY to Uganda. We've completed the set via Amazon and have bought different books from sellers all over the world. Our daughter is in love with these books. The stories are funny 'histories' of how and why animals across Africa came to be, act certain ways and interact with each other. They all have fantastic endings and we read & re-read them over and over before bedtime. She has dozens of books for a three-year old and, along with her Little Golden Books, these are her favorites...while she can't read them yet, she can tell you the stories -- cover-to-cover -- simply by looking at the pictures.

This series of books is WONDERFUL!! My grandkids aged 4 and 7 beg me to read them over and over!!

Wonderful books. I purchased several for our school library and the children absolutely love them!They arrived very quickly and were in perfect condition.

Very cute series of books with interesting information on the habitats of African animals, as well as a moral to each story.

All the books by Mwenye Hadithi are excellent. My daughter loves them and wants me to read all the stories everyday.

We started reading these books when they were bought for my son from his uncle (husbands family from Kenya) the whole series is fun and whilst is always about various African animals, also has a moral to the story. My son loves them and so I bought this one (and another title from Amazon) for my other nephew. The Cross Crocodile was the first one we got given and it's his favourite. Definitely recommend these books for children 3-7 years. My son is 6 and we read them regularly.

My kids have loved this series of books and we've read them over and over, so now we're passing the joy on to their little cousin. Simple to read and understand, lovely illustrations and always a clever twist to the story.

Is a story about a selfish crocodile who won't share mangos. The animals trick him and eventually get the mangos they want. My 3-year old loves this story.
