Super sharp multi purpose chef knife.
I thought that I had a good set of knifes but have noticed that my chef knife was really not doing the job that it should. Since it is the knife I tend to use the most, I wanted to buy a good chef knife and not have to replace my other knifes as they are still working great for me. I cannot stop raving about this knife. From cutting vegetables such as squash, potatoes and carrots to meat to more delicate herbs and vegetables this is the only knife you will need in the kitchen. It arrives in a padded box which I have decided to keep mine stored in to keep it from banging around with other knifes in my collection. I knew this would be a super sharp knife as there is a hard plastic cover that is placed over the tip of the knife when it arrives. When I took the cap off I could understand why. They have honed a super sharp and thinner tip to the knife making it much easier to pierce through tougher meats and vegetables. The knife is entirely made of high quality stainless steel with a good heavy grip and weight to it while being nice and balanced in your hand to encourage proper knife handling. The knife makes quick work of anything you would normally use your chef knife for without the need to saw at your food and it actually slices through meats without tearing or shredding things like beef and other meats where you want a precise and even cut. With any good quality knife it is not recommended to put through the dishwasher and I will only hand wash this knife to make sure it stays nice and sharp and ready to use at all times.
