This motor looks exactly as it does in the picture. The pins for the electrical connection are sturdy and work well with a DC source. They are a little small, so it would be hard to make several connections to them. I've hooked it up to 2 AA batters, 4 AA batteries and a 9V battery. Under 2 (3 V) it turns (expectedly) slow, under 4 (6V) it turns at about 20 RPM (I just eye-balled this--1 minute was about 20 rotations), and under 9V it turns faster. I didn't run it under 9V for very long (a few minutes), but it didn't heat up or anything. It might be possible to run it under a 9V battery, but I have no idea what the long term consequences could be. I wouldn't suggest it.As for torque, I cannot stall the motor with my hand. It is a very powerful little motor. The motor is relatively quiet, but you can hear a buzzing if you really listen to it.

Very handy for a range of projects, this gear-motor is easy to apply. It is perfect for typical display applications.

this is a great little motor! Quiet and powerful and easy to mount. I plan on using several of these is a product I am developing! Hope the supplier will always be able to supply!

These motors are fantastic, excellent quality and a great price. I'm using them in a walking robot.

Used this in a keypad safe at my uncles house to fix it and it worked perfectly!
