I have actually had one of these for 2-3 years now, and just bought one of the same brand for a Brother-in-Law. The one I just bought didn't charge, but Beatit send a new one after a quick email conversation (always had a response within a day, usually within an hour). So their customer service is great! Onto the product: For the last 2-3 years I have used my Beatit a lot more then I even expected. Here's what I learned about it: Pros Holds a charge really well, when it isn't allowed to freeze or get extremely hot (talking 100+ degrees) very often. I have jumped a gas engine up to 6.0 liters (Chevy Suburban) many times, up to 5 times on one charge when I was trying to diagnose a battery drain issue. I also jump started a Cummins once for someone on the side of the road. This thing always jumped them like they had a new battery. Very impressive. Charges phones really well, and I like that I have two USB charging ports so I can make good use of the very large capacity by charging two devices at once. Comes in a strong and well made carry case, which has room to put USB charging cables along with the Beatit and its accessories. Beatit feels very solid, with a hard rubber around the case so it is easy to hold. Cons Flashlight is a nice touch, but don't expect to use it for much because it isn't very bright. Why did they bother putting that compass on there? It is garbage and useless... Jumper cables are VERY short, like barely long enough to reach each end of a big battery. This makes this useless for a Mercedes Sprinter, which used to be my work vehicle, because they have the battery cables under the seat with a jumper running to under the hood, but no where close to any metal that I can connect the negative jumper cable to. Overall, most vehicles will be able to be jumped by this. I couldn't believe it jumped that Cummins like it had a new built in battery in it! Very solid, has worked 2-3 years through fairly heavy use for a portable charger and jumpstarter. I would not recommend letting it freeze or get hot very often, it is a battery after all.

I didn't expect much for $30 but the reviews were good so u have it a try when my car battery in my Kia was slowly going out and every day I drove it, it got worse. I was needing a jump about 10 times a day towards the end and this was a life saver. First it took literally 10 seconds to hook it up and another 10 to start the car. The first time, fully charged battery. This thing could run many many times without needing a charge. I would use it constantly and not charge it and it never got below the second to full line. I was amazed. Then my sister was impressed and she bought one and loves it. I went to Auto Zone for them to test my battery and his big ol commercial battery jumper wouldn't do the trick. My battery is tiny! It would crank but no start. So I pull out my little jumper to see if it might work and guess what, first try and it started. The Auto Zone guy was in awe that this tiny little jumper jumped the battery that quick first try. He was in disbelief and took pics of it to buy for himself. To summarize: recharges the battery in seconds, easy to hook up, cover with nice case and 2 chargers, takes a long time and many many uses to drain the battery. It's got tons of power. It's easily my favorite car gadget I own. Buy it, you will not be sorry!

Worked great the first few months I had it. Needed it again about 5 months later for a jump. Fully charged it and nothing. It won't hold a charge anymore. Cant even use it as a battery pack for other electronics.

Beautifully designed, engineered and packaged - and most importantly - IT WORKS as promised!!!! I bought it because I camp frequently on fishing trips out of cell phone range and carry an electric food cooler I run from my car battery. I've run my battery down a couple times and luckily was able to find help for a jump. But I didn't want to worry, so bought this. It arrived fully charged and about a month after my brand new top of the line Sears battery ran down -VOILA!! I jump started it immediately on the first turn of the ignition. It will also charge your cell phone and computer. The storage case and all components are elegantly designed and high quality - worth twice the price.

Unfortunately did not work. Engine turns but not enough juice to start. I just received this and fully charged it before trying to use it. I tried on a Honda CR-V and Toyota Corolla. Last few days have been below zero, today the temps came up to 22 today so I figured it should work. Did not start either car. I did try to start my cars when the temp was -20 and also did not work but that was extreme weather. Should have worked at 22 degrees but did not turn the car over. Was excited to purchase with all the positive reviews but did not work for me in time of need.

I bought this with a bit of skepticism as I'm old enough to remember battery chargers being big plug into the wall metal boxes that would take a few minutes before you got enough charge to start a dead battery. But holy cow. This little battery is like magic. Before I ever had to recharge I jumped a car three times, used it to charge a cell phone over a weekend camping, and was a hero at an event for my daughter's school keeping a couple phones charged for the other parents and teachers working it. Then it charged in about 4 hours - or two round trip commutes to work and back. Used it today for a co-worker, instantly got a car that was completely dead to start instantly. You cannot go wrong with this. Compact, nice case, holds a charge a long time, very happy and feel confident I don't need to worry about a dead battery with this in the back of the jeep.

I got this because I want one for my 4 wheeler when im out on the trails. I hope it works as well as my DBPOWER 600A jumper I purchased. It appears to be of very similar quality and build. I do wish it had a digital readout like some of the other models have and also my DBPOWER one has. But not having the digital reading is not a deal breaker. Don't let the price fool you. Will update once I use it.
