I had a recipe that needed some fenugreek. When the package arrived, I realized that I had enough fenugreek to last me for the rest of my life.Also for the rest of my child's life.Also for the rest of any of my child's children.This is my issue, not yours. This package packs a lot of fenugreek.If you're running a restaurant serving Middle Eastern food, then this package will get you through about a year.But if you need to grind these seeds (which of course you will), don't even think about a mortar & pestle, because the seeds will just laugh at you. Get a machine, at least a dedicated "pepper grinder."

Y'all... My husband has tried EVERYTHING to help him sleep, and unexpectedly, this was the thing that did it. My practitioner recommended fenugreek seeds for me, to help with hormone balance. I was reading about it and it has a lot of health benefits for both men and women, so I had my husband start taking it as well. Sleep was not listed in the articles I read about health benefits, but THIS WORKS. He is now on night 18 of good sleep, which is a record. We are both sleeping better now that he is not up and down all night. It remains to be seen if we experience other benefits, but for the sleep alone, this is priceless! Also, I recommended fenugreek seeds to my mother-in-law who also has difficulty sleeping. She bought a different brand, and she said hers were very bitter. I've got my husband, my picky teen daughter, my mother, and I all taking this brand with no complaints about bitterness. My husband grinds it with flax seeds and eats it in yogurt; the rest of us just soak them to soften and eat them, and no complaints. Couldn't be more pleased.

I have ordered this product several times. I use it for my DIY hair products, and I love the freshness of it.

I have read that fenugreek seeds, made into a tea, can help with apendix issues. It actually tastes very mild. Mixed with honey, its pretty good. Next time I will add some lemon.

I leave it for two days soaking and it has not softened. A little expensive since it does not do the function that I expected.
