Not exactly like the stollen I've had before. For one thing, this one has a granulated sugar coating, as opposed to a powdered sugar one. And I think there are differences in the cake, too, but I didn't do a side by side test, so cannot be very specific. I can tell you that I liked this one a lot, and bought it twice this season!

These 2 Stollens arrived Stale and with dry fruit, I have bought these in the past from the grocery store and they were delicious and a lot less expensive. You can't return them and they are way overpriced.

Other than the fact that the product arrived quite squashed, (not sure who’s fault that is), product was delicious.Did seem to be shipped with little regard for protecting the contents of the container it was shipped in. As I was just buying it for myself, that wasn’t an issue. Might’ve felt differently if I had given it as a gift.

I produce was not bad, but one of the packages was open 😔

The best ever

This item is a dense, flat, oily, bland tasting, gooey, sweet bread full of large raisins. I detected no alluring, fragrant aromas i.e., vanilla, subtle spices or butter flavor. Also, it is not coated with powdered sugar like other stollens I’ve enjoyed. However, I choked it down because it was expensive and I paid for it! I was totally disappointed. I don’t mean for my review to be harsh but truthfully, I hard as I tried, I simply didn’t care for it. I agree with another review that, “ It is the worse stollen I have ever had.” Happy Holidays!

This is authentic, buttery, delicious stolen. My husband and I treat ourselves to one every Christmas and we are so sad when it is all eaten up!
