Sleepweaver Sleep Mask - positive airway control (Tan) by Sleep Weaver

I really couldn't tolerate most CPAP masks, especially as a side or stomach-sleeper. When I found this mask it was a godsend; it was the only thing that allowed me to pursue CPAP therapy. This mask is lightweight and comfortable, and works well for side or stomach sleepers in the way most others do not. They are not as intrusive as other nasal masks nor as claustrophobia-inducing as larger masks. If you have not been able to tolerate other masks, this is definitely the way to go.The downsides are all small. These are a bit harder to clean than some of the other masks; you have to actually wash them rather than just wipe them with a disinfectant wipe. If your pressure settings are high (higher than about 14 or so) then this might not work for you, since at higher pressures like that it's hard to get the mask to hold a seal to your face (and it often makes a high-pitched noise when it begins leaking). It does work quite well even for guys with facial hair at pressures below 13-ish.The mask does have a lifetime; eventually it tends to fail when the glue holding the fabric part of the mask to the plastic connector weakens. Newer models seem a bit better than older ones, but I'd say plan on needing to replace the mask in a year, maybe year-and-a-half. You can wrap a smaller rubber-band over the cloth that's attached to the connector; that works for a good "field repair" and might increase the life.

I have used this type of mask for years. I am extremely satisfied with it.
