Affordable and SO EASY!
Easy to use to make 'noodles' from veggies, PERFECT for those who are gluten free, low carb, Paleo, etc. I mostly use zucchini, but have used carrots as well. There are bigger pricier spiralizers out there and if you think you want to do every kind of shape veggie and fruit go for those. I personally have no need to make jicama and kohlrabi noodles so this one works for me! Relatively easy to clean, you definitely want to hold onto the thin brush that it comes with. You end up with about a quarter inch of veggie 'stump' that wont go into the slicer, but just chop it up or save for use another day. For zucchini, I take the 'zoodles' and either sautee in EVOO or toss in boiling water for a few minutes.

Very happy with my purchase
It's a great little spiralizer, perfect for travel. It's really nice that it comes with a cleaning brush and a cookbook. I use it to make raw zucchini pasta, and it's been great. I'd give it five stars, but it's a little tiring if you are making a lot of noodles for a big family and using it heavy, it's doable but a bit of work. For the price, it's a definite bargain. Even if I had a big expensive spiral slicer, I would still want this one because it's great for small projects and I take it with me on trips. This little guy is very quick and easy to use, I like it a lot.

Good Idea -- Poor Functionality
I purchased this after reading glowing reviews, but, for me at least, this is a joke. The slicer is uncomfortable to hold and you have to pay close attention to the pressure you use with the vegetable in order to get a uniform result. If you press too hard, you won't get individual "strings" or "strips," instead, you'll get solid sections. If you don't use enough pressure, the vegetable strings will end up as short pieces.Don't even try to spiralize carrots -- they are too hard for the slicer. I had limited success with zucchini, because it's softer, but it still created a plate of half-strings/half-clumps. I really wanted this to work and I tried numerous vegetables, but it ended up in the trash.

Where's my cookbook?
This slicer advertises that it comes with a cook book. I did not receive a cookbook with mine, and when I emailed the seller, I got an email back apologizing that I did not like the slicer with no addressing of the cookbook issue. Also very small. I expected something larger that could handle larger veggies. Went ahead and splurged on a Paderno Spiralizer/Slicer. Granted it was over $30 more, but wow what a great product. I put this back in its box and gave it to Goodwill.

The spiralizer was a little chintsier than I imagined. But I did use it and it worked OK. For as often as a use one, and the price, it will do.

I was amazed at how easy it was to use
I was amazed at how easy it was to use. I kept thinking it was going to be more difficult. I have RA in my hands and I was able to work it just fine.

Good creative gadget
It's a bit labor intensive - especially for hard veggies like carrots - but the results are good. A lot of the veggie cannot go through, and you are left with the end that you are holding, and the plugs that break off and go all the way through the gadget ( the plug is like the tip of the pencil if you keep sharpening and it breaks off...). Still, it's a good concept, and I'll have fun using it. It will make veggies more versatile!

Dirty!
I hate to leave any kind of negative review, but my spiralizer was dirty. I washed it and now I am happy with it, but couldn't believe it was dirty! (I ran it through my very hot dishwasher that melts nearly everything plastic and it made it). In hindsight, I would have purchased from my local Bed Bath & Beyond.
