We have a 1 yr old puppy who demolished his previous crate cover (different brand and material) by chewing through the side of it, chewing the zipper off one side, and continually being able to pull it through the crate slats. He totally ruined the previous cover, which lead me to purchase this one. We have been using this cover on his crate daily and so far it has been phenomenal!Fit- It was very easy to install and was not too snug to put on at all. It attaches to the crate at the bottom in the four corners with bungie toggle ties and they appear to be are below where the puppy can chew on them.- The front zips open and closed very easily, my young children are even able to put the puppy in his crate and cover him up on their own with no problem.Fabric- We have had this a little over a week, but so far our chewer puppy has not been able to rip this cover at all. The fabric appears to be made with a rip stop pattern and the inside is coated to be wiped down from any accidents that might occur.- The black cover makes it nice and dark inside the crate and our puppy settles right down when he goes inside.Typically we just fold the front flap up over the top of the crate when the puppy is not in there, but it can be rolled back nicely and toggled open as shown in the picture. After our dog ruined the previous crate cover, I was concerned that he would ruin this one the first night, but it is hold up nicely and I would definitely purchase again if needed in the future.

Great Find! Rarely write a review, but want to pass on, this is really worth the $! Fabric is thick, looks very waterproof, zippers pull easily, velcro flaps lay securly. Great attention to detail, even has little ties at bottom corners to keep cover from riding up. I got size larger than 48" crate, it was way too big. Traded in for 48" - fit perfectly. Easy on/off, not too tight but not hanging on the ground.

I really love this cover, it’s well made, and is a perfect fit. I’m going to be buying another one for my other dog’s kennel. I’ve been using blankets, for years, and I’m so happy to have this instead.

this cover is so easy to put on your crate and fits perfectly. there’s mesh flaps on the side for ventilation, but it does great at blacking out the crate. before this, we’d been using blankets to cover our dogs crate but she was ripping the blanket through the crate. she hasn’t been able to do that with this crate and we’ve had it about 2 months now. i’d highly recommend!UPDATE: i still love this cover, but our dog did eventually tear a few holes in it. if you have a dog who likes to rip the cover, this one lasted us about 5 months. the cover was good enough that we’ll be buying a new one and continuing to train our dog not to rip!

Our 2.5 month old puppy was not appreciating the blanket over the crate at night. We had no trouble with our other dog, so I did not expect that a blanket would be an issue. However, kept getting pulled through the sides of the crate and ripped up. Obviously, there’s some anxiety being in a new place and being covered. However, it was the best way for us to get consistent rest and continue crate training.That being sad, we wanted to find a crate cover that could not be ripped up. I read several of these reviews and thought it was helpful to note that many people agreed it could not easily be pulled through the crate slots. We’ve had this cover for almost 2 months and it has been magical. It’s easy to adjust the panels up and down and the elastic tethers on the side make it easy to keep the cover attached to the base of our crate.It’s a much higher quality than we anticipated. That was a pleasant surprise. It quickly and easily slipped over the top of the crate and has worked wonderfully since. No more shredded crate covers!

We originally had a blanket covering our dog's crate, he never wanted to go in the crate and would be really antsy throughout the night. This cover helps to block the sun, buffers noise for him and he is no longer antsy at night. He gets excited to go in now and even after opening his door in the morning he will stay an extra hour just chewing on his toys. Plus, the crate over fits very nicely and looks MUCH better in our bedroom.

Great dog crate covers. Use these in our bedroom for their night crates. Has a waterproof like element to the fabric. Very nice!

Honestly thought the cover was going to be a cheap material, but I was wrong. Very well made and it fits perfectly over our XL Dog Crate.

Fits perfect and is very easy to get on the crate. The added windows are a plus.
