Upgrading my review to four stars. The original rating was due to problems with a return. Size information is conflicting and incorrect. Embroidery is beautiful, construction not as good as it could be but adequate. Buy a size one to two times larger than suggested.UPDATE: YOU CAN RETURN ITEMS. My earlier statement about items being non-returnable was due to less than perfect communication on the part of the merchant. I will be upgrading my review of them, too. (If I can find it—Amazon doesn't make that easy.)

"Made in China" used to mean that the quality wasn't the best, but you would get some use out of the product that made it worth the low cost. I've been finding that to be the case less and less over the last couple years and this robe is a good example. It has the feel of a cheap Halloween costume type of robe that's good for about one use.Shipping took a long time because it is actually shipping from...you guessed it, China.First off, the size on the robe runs on the smaller size so I would recommend one size larger than what you're used to.Secondly, out of the bag, there were two dozen loose threads on the seams anywhere from 4-12 inches long that needed to be trimmed. There were additional pulls on the embroidery as well. I highly doubt that this robe will make it past a few washes and I'm positive I won't be buying another when it falls apart.

Really nice; great value. Robe fit a large size just right. Comes fully sewn with dragon on both sides - black or reverse to rich navy color. Even the belt sash is reversible. Arrived quickly, well packaged. Made it through several cold machine washes and hang dries just fine.

I have no idea about the rest of these reviewers but I should of ordered a large, which is my normal size. Ex Lrg is a bit big but OK. Me 5'8" 170lbs 34' waist

I bought this for my husband. It was the only one I found that met his criteria list, and it looks really nice. I did take the advice of other reviews to order big and I'm glad I listened. According to the chart he was a small and he doesn't wear a small anything, usually M/L so I got the L just to be safe. He is pleased with it, so I'm happy with the purchase.

This item is not good quality and is not made correctly. Right out of the bag, the arm holes were frayed all around. Cheap material and poor craftmanship. I should request a refund.

Run unbelievably SMALL. I'm 6' and 210 lbs and can barely close it.However, the embroidery work, even if it is made by machine, is OUTSTANDING so I'm going to keep it.

I gave it 4 stars only because it has no belt loops which makes it a bit difficult to keep closed otherwise very nice. If not for that it would get 5 stars.
