non-irritating, helped clear up my skin
This review is for the 10% product that includes collagen. It says "Vitamin E" on the label, but not on the ingredients list, so I'm not sure whether it includes vitamin E or not.I had previously been using a serum for a cosmetic company trial and it was not a good fit for me -- made my skin break out horribly. So when that trial was over, I got rid of that product immediately and started using this. And I actually think this has helped my skin make a comeback. I've had a good skin cell turnover rate (helped by some active exfoliation) and the appearance of my skin is definitely improving.I have been using this twice a day. My routine is like this: cleanse, tone, use serum and eye cream, moisturize. If it's daytime, I follow up with SPF, primer, and foundation. This product has fit well into that routine, and it has not irritated my skin even when used twice a day. It dries fairly quickly and tightens up my skin a bit (but not in an uncomfortable way; maybe "firms" is a better word?).I like the pump dispenser (my previous serum had an eyedropper, which I hated, so this is a nice change). One pump is enough product to cover my entire face, so one bottle will last a long time. This is a yellowish color but doesn't show up on the skin when it dries. The dark glass bottle protects the product from light exposure. There are some preservatives (but no parabens, if that is of concern to you), so the bottle should stay good for awhile. I don't notice a scent but that's fine, I prefer unscented products. This has a gel-like texture and isn't runny at all.I like the idea of a vitamin C serum as the weather gets warmer and I am outside more. The vitamin C should have good antioxidant properties and help to protect my skin from free radical damage. Please note that the marine collagen in the 10% product can only come from animal sources. So while this product is not tested on animals, it is not a vegan product. (Similarly, hyaluronic acid generally comes as a byproduct of poultry processing.)Overall, I'm happy with this. I feel like it does a good job on my fine lines (not very apparent yet as I'm only 37 and don't spend a lot of time in the sun, but prevention is easier than dealing with the problem later). I also love that my skin seems to be clearing up.Product provided by the manufacturer for evaluation purposes.

Here Comes The Sun!!!
I have recently become aware of this particular product but have used Vitamin C serums in other forms. I really do love the feel of this one. I use it primarily at night...just before going to bed...this oil in particular is relatively light weight...by that statement I mean it's an oil but it's not a heavy oil. I tend to use it lightly all over my face and I like the results...I think my skin is smoother...any little dark spots hopefully will fade a bit with time.It has not irritated my skin and I do think it has lightened and brightened my winter skin!My thanks to the manufacturer for asking me to review this product.

Works well on facial skin
Over the past several months I’ve used Health Nut Vitamin C Serum on my face and have had good results. It’s had a positive effect on my skin. For much of my life I’ve spent a lot of time outdoors in all sorts of weather and have incurred damager to my facial skin. While this serum doesn’t make me look like I'm twenty, my skin does look smoother and healthier than it has in years. This serum has also kept my rosacea from being noticeable. The 20% potency is the strength you want for maximum effectiveness. The serum has no detectable odor and I’ve experienced no negative side effects. For best results use it after cleansing the face and follow it with the use of a moisturizer.I received this product in exchange for writing an honest review.
