LNKA Walking Foot #4123573-01 Compatible with Husqvarna Viking Sewing Machine 215, 400, 605, Groups 5, 6, 7, D, E

I had never used a walking foot before and it was very easy to install and use. Allowed me to easily quilt straight lines with no trouble at all.

I recently obtained a “New to me” used Viking sewing machine. Naturally, I came straight to Amazon for specialty foot attachments, because most general OSFA feet won’t work on a Husqvarna. I tried using this walking foot for several days. I was having difficulty w/ my machine. I kept thinking I had naughtier a lemon! The bobbin thread was nesting underneath my fabric. My top thread was constantly breaking! At times, it would get so bound up that it would just lock up, & I mean TIGHT! I would retread everything, only to start over. I THINK (to the best of my assessment) that the needle opening is too narrow. I THINK that the needle literally HIT the metal piece. It ended up getting or being misaligned (I’m talking about the metal part of the walking foot that has move in sync w/ the needle)! Either way, After about a day and a half of getting it, I took it off my machine. My machine is back to running smoothly again! I still don’t know if it CAME to me misaligned or it happened while I was sewing. If it had worked, I would’ve LOVED it!

I have a Viking Opal 690q and really searched for a walking foot at a reasonable price.The price on this was WAY better than brand name walking feet, so I didn’t know if it was junk, but as I wasn’t wanting to spend over a hundred dollars on a foot I thought I’d take a chance. So far it has exceeded my expectations. I can’t compare it to the pricier ones, but for my needs I call it a win!

This DOES fit Husqvarna Opal 650! Easy to use and install. 0 problems. Used for 1 full day with no problems, literally right out of the box. Did not have to adjust tension. My only change to my machine once installed was my stitch length. Highly recommend! This is NOT a paid review.

This walking foot works about 1/3 of the time. It’s impossible to use a zigzag stitch with it. The needle will slam into the walking foot during use. I’ve broken a half dozen needles trying to use it. It’s fairly worthless to me.

Great device I use with my Viking Scandinavian 100 machine. Just had to go on down to my local hardware store to get a proper metric length screw to attach. Saved over a hundred dollars using this over the Viking device.

This attachment certainly does technically fit my Viking Lily 540 machine. Unfortunately, it is made of pretty inferior materials and does not operate the way it is supposed to, nor does it do the job a walking foot is supposed to do. As you can see in my video, it's easy to attach and does stay on the shank in the proper position. However, the feed dogs that come with the attachment do not grip the fabric and bring both top and bottom through at an equal speed. In fact, if I release my hand from the fabric it does not pull it through at all and just sits there, not advancing or feeding the fabric. Since I have to "pull" the fabric through from the back of the needle and fight to keep it going through from the front it pretty much defeats the purpose of the attachment. Sorry, but this did not make the grade and I'll be returning.

I have a new Viking topaz 40. Was hesitant buying a accessary not coming Husqvarna but did not want to spend over $100 for this item. order this item at a great price and got quickly. Put it on, it fit perfectly and works great. Fast delivery,.

WORKS OK BUT HARD TO SEE THE NEEDLE

I purchased this foot for my Husqvarna Emma sewing machine. When I received it, I wasn't able to immediately attach it to the machine because the original presser foot screw on my machine is too short. I took it to my local sewing machine repair shop, and he was able to find a screw from an old machine to fit my machine/ foot. Once I got the foot attached, it works great! This is my first experience with a walking foot, so I can't compare or attest to its durability yet, but it performed great for my first quilt.

It makes a sound like it’s going to come apart when I use it. And the foot does not align with the feed dog of my Husquavarna Opal 670
