Grund Puro Series 100% Organic Cotton Reversible Bath Rug, 21 x 34 Inch, Panna Cotta

I was definitely surprised how thick these rugs are and comfy to stand on. I was looking for a organic cotton rug without the rubber backing (nasty chemicals that release into the air). There weren't any reviews on these rugs when I ordered 2 for our house so I took the chance. So so glad I did. Love these rugs. Dries quickly. The pictures don't do these rugs justice; way nicer looking in person, very pretty rug. I ordered the 17" x 24" that is the perfect size in front of the shower or bathtub, not too big and not too small, just the right size. Yes these are a little more money than cheap rubber backed rugs from Wal-Mart but worth it. These rugs will last for many years. So glad I made the purchase and would definitely recommend.6/22/16 Update:We have had these rugs for a little over a year now and they still look great. The rugs wash really well and have been washed many times.

These are super soft and think rugs. They have good weight to them. Not too brown and not too beige. Like sand. Quite pleased I went ahead and purchased these rugs. I bought 3 rugs.I am editing this review because the loops of cotton yarn in one of the rugs are coming out which is leaving bare spots. There has only been one wash of the rugs. So I am changing my rating to average (3 stars) The manufacturer has a life time warranty, however, there is no product support for this item on Amazon, therefore I cannot contact the manufacturer. I still think the great softness, weight, and color deserve 5 stars.

I purchased two of these rugs in Panna color. The rugs are a nice quality. My only complaint is they are featured as "reversible". However, there is a black sewn in tag (with washing instructions etc.) on one side that cannot be completely removed. I used a small pair of scissors to cut as much of it off as I can but there is then still noticeable black tag showing on one side. Being I went with the Panna color, which is a light tan/cream, this is very noticeable. So for that reason I feel they are truly not reversible unless you are ok with this being seen on one side.

Our dog spends much of the 18 hours a day that he sleeps on this rug. The same dog who acts like our bed is too hard for him unless we put an extra blanket on it. (Yeah, I know he's spoiled and worse, he knows it, too). That should tell you that this rug is soft and luxurious. Yet it also looks quite elegant, even with dog hair on it, which is rare for bathroom rugs. The soft ones usually look like a wet rat after one use. So, stop your search already and just buy this one!

Very thick and high quality. Washes easily and had gotten a couple of dark spots on it that came out with a basic wash machine setting and no pretreatments. The drying part was less than optimal. It took over two days to air dry and we live in a dry atmosphere. I honestly don't know how long it would take to air dry in a humid climate. I dried it in the dryer on low which was better and it held up nicely. I've washed it at least 6 times and it still looks brand new. It is not shedding or unraveling. Worth the money. Well made product. I purchased the tan and the color looks like west coast sandy beach color.

These bath mats I got through the warehouse at a phenominal price and Wowza!!! what a bargain!!! They are the bomb; meaning they are fabulous!!! They truly are 5 star hotel quality and I should know, I work with fabrics professionally and the quality and texture of the cotton is awesome!! They are very thick and plush! I absolutely love these!Cut the labels off, if they bother you, which I do to most things I buy. They are fully reversible! I don't let hubby put them in the dryer, as I don't want them to shrink, but, they wash very well! Happy feet dance!!! Love these!!!

Update: this company stands behind their products; Jim, if you read this, THANK YOU and the handwritten note was a great touch.I'm sure this will get a response from Grund, that's really what I seek: I purchased this rug in September and it's been wonderful but the latest washing/drying left a large -- hole -- I suppose, I can provide pictures. My first reaction when I noticed thus happen was something of sadness, it was a great rug but now I'm hoping something can be done outside repurchasing.

I've had a few different bathroom rugs. This is the nicest I've found. I had previously purchased a Pinzon that is nice, but this is much plusher, denser, and more comfortable underfoot. Definitely the best I've found. I had other ones from Bed, Bath, and Beyond that were not as nice and didn't hold up well. I prefer the fully washable kind with no rubber backing like this. I need one that fits under the bathroom door when it opens/closes so I can't use the ones that have foam or padding, but this one is perfect because it doesn't need any padding. I haven't washed it yet, but I'm very happy with it so far.

This is the best bath runner I've ever owned. It's very plush, hefty, and organic! I've also tried a few bath runners with similar size. Some had rubber backings which the often caused balancing issues with the washing machine during spinning cycles.

An absolutely beautiful, soft bath mat. It was delivered within days of placing the order. I ordered this small one for my camper but I’m so happy with it that I’m going to buy a few more for the bathrooms in my house.

Very absorbant. Soft underfoot. Does slide a bit but not as much as some. Pricey but worth it

Soft. Great quality. Washes well. No pulls. Thick. Certified organic. I love this mat and will order another one.
