A handy junction box for small job. Quality quite good.

I bought this product to use with outdoor security lighting. So the fact that it is light grey and not white to match the painted render wasn't a huge deal for me. But if it is for you then don't buy this.The connector block has no instructions on how to use it and i notice other reviewers have swapped to types they know.As I show in the photo, one side has levers that you press down to open the clamp in the corresponding termination holes (there are two per lever). The other side requires a small flat blade screwdriver to be inserted into the slots above each termination hole pair to achieve the same thing (illustrated).There are no screws or raw-plugs included to attach the block to the wall. You will need these extra items.The 4 screws that are provided are to fasten the closure lid. They are self tapping so don't overtighten them as they will be difficult to undo.It's fiddley to fit the wires, so I recommend practicing with short lengths of cable before trying to connect this in its final position if you are not used to the fitting type.I would buy it again, it's not bad.

Used as a junction box for an exterior light and was ideal for that purpose.

Very good quality for the price

Although advertised as white, it is, as metioned further down it is slightly gray. The connector inside is what I'd say is white, but does not have screws to connect the wires. Not sure how it works so as others have said, will use my own.If you want a connector to use on white it will definitely stand out as not white.
