Russian Nesting Dolls, Unpainted Wood Russian Matryoshka, DIY Tools, Give Children The Best Holiday and Birthday Gifts

This item is turned while the wood is still wet. And then it is immediately packaged.The problem is that the wood dries when the customer opens the vacuum packaging, and splits more often than not.The seller needs to fix this issue because nothing they sell will last until they do.So dont waste your money on this particular seller/item.I know this because I work with wood and making these dolls is not beyond my ability but I wanted it as a last minute Christmas gift, which didnt happen because the wood was wet.Also. If this will be a children's toy, you will only get 3 dolls from it safely the smallest dolls are choking hazards.

While the wood is smooth and the quality I expected. It does not seem to be stored properly wherever it is distributed from. I took it out of the package and the wood was swollen and would not separate. I left it on the counter to dry overnight. After one night a slim crack formed on the top. After the second night the whole outer piece cracked. Its not worth it for me to pay the shipping cost to send it back, so I'm out the money I paid. Good luck to future buyers.

I painted them with acrylic paint, let them dry and two out of the 6 started splitting on the bottom and up the side of largest one! The dolls inside are fine!? Very difficult to get apart, then together, will need to soap them or sand them! I will try to put wood puddy in crack, but they are Christmas gifts for my grandchildren!

This item is listed as for kids, but it will annoy most people.I had to use a thin bladed saw on each one because the cuts were not finished and one sticks very bad.

As I expected, a set of lovely nesting dolls waiting to be painted. I ordered 4 sets so my children could each decorate a set. Unfortunately three of the sets each had visible mold on the outermost doll and on three of the inner dolls as well. The fourth one I was unable to open up to check the interior dolls. I will be returning them.

My grandchildren love nesting toys and I have bought many. I am an artist, and I plan to paint these blank dolls to resemble their families, and glue actual photos of faces on to them.

The nesting dolls came wet and FULL of mold! I ordered this product and received it when the mail delivered it, it did not sit outside and the box was dry. The mold was inside the packaging and all the dolls. Even the interior dolls were wet. I immediately got a migraine from the mold. I took a picture and put it right back in the box and filled out my return. DISGUSTING! I wish I could give 0 stars.

At first we couldnt get them open and then my daughter painted them for school and the next morning she picked them up and they were cracked and we used painted made for wood only!
