I Love Classical Music (My First Sound Book) Board book – March 26, 2019

The media could not be loaded. I love this series of books and choose to carry them with our childrens music related book collection section of our musical specialty shop inside “Florida Violins” in Venice Florida. I have three different ones from Marion Billet “My First Sound Book” selections, and they are wonderful books for young babies and children. The quality is top notch and the short musical recordings are such great additions to these colorful and educational books, and they definitely captivate the young ones that I’ve shown them to.

I love this book as well as the one entitled I Love Music. My one year old grandson wore that book out so this one is for his baby sister.The book is durable and the music on each page plays by pushing a button. The music itself plays for about five seconds and the child loves it. Just pushing the button is fun!

My 1 yr old granddaughter already has her favorite page, piece of music! Super adorable with hidden spots to touch to play music, on/off button to save on battery power or if want to use it silently, can replace battery if needed. I will definitely purchase more of these, as they make a variety of classical music books like these.

My 15 months old has had 2 books from this series (this one and the I Love Music one) since he was about 10 months, and while he's been chewing and throwing them everywhere, they both still work. They are still among his favorite books.I don't get the negative comments about the sound being too quiet. Yes, it is not as loud as your typical musical toys, but to me this is the perfect volume that the child can hear well, but that is not too loud or overbearing for parents sitting 3 feet away from him. But then again, I typically put scotch tape over speakers on the few FP and VTech noisy toys that we have to reduce the sound volume.

A nice book for children but the sound is barely audible

For the last year, my grandson, now two, has chosen this book from his very full bookcase again and again. These short classical melodies will stay with him his whole life. From my vantage point, it will counterbalance his parents’ bent towards country music. 😂

I am a piano teacher and ordered many books that play classical music. This book is one of the better one: beautifully illustrated with generous length of music. I will buy several copies as gift to babies.

I was worried my daughter at 18 months would not be as entertained with this but she loves it! She loves pushing the button and listening to the songs while looking at the pictures. It’s great for distracting her while diaper changing.We didn’t have any issues with the volume (as some others have complained of). It’s been repetitively used over the last couple of months and the volume may be starting to get lower but if necessary, I’ll eventually switch out the battery.
