Works on Bernina Activa 230
LOVE that it works. I started my first quilt this past week and read in my tutorial I needed a walking foot. I was extremely surprised to learn they can easily run around $240. That wasn’t going to happen... so I started looking for alternatives. This came up in amazon and figured I would try it. What I didn’t like: there’s no installation instructions!! So when I was trying it out for the first time I didn’t realize I had it installed wrong.... then once I THOUGHT I installed it correctly I started my quilt. Like I said this was my first quilt so I wasn’t sure how it was supposed to feel while sewing. Well I used it wrong for a good 1/4 of the quilt- I didn’t have the lever attached to the needle attachment (LOL!) no wonder my fabric wasn’t moving. It only took about 40 min of my hands starting to be in pain of pulling the fabric through to go on YouTube to try and figure out what I was doing wrong. Horizontal stitch in pic is of me using it wrong. Vertical stitch is when it worked!! Beautiful stitches!! And it moves your fabric easily on its own requiring you to just guide it. Luckily YouTube showed me some great videos and I realized I had it installed wrong. If you’ve never used one before go on YouTube and look up how to instal. I thought it was common sense but apparently I was lacking it for a good portion of that day. In the end I am so satisfied with this purchase. It allows me to quilt without investing the $240 on the Bernina brand one. So I can actually figure out if I will get a lot of use out of it to even begin with.

I made all the mistakes at first.
I've read all the reviews and the frustration of not having good instructions etc and I made all the mistakes they all made. It was a pain to get on and no instructions. BUT I went and watched a video on the Bernina #50 foot and guess what. It showed how to put it on and how to us it so I went into my sewing room and tried it out and it's exactly the same. Went on like a piece of cake and changed the sole with no problem. Works like a champ. Just do a little research.

AWESOME PRODUCT
I have a Bernina Vertuosa 153. My walking foot was having issues and really needed to be replaced. But the cost of the OEM was to high for my budget. So I decided to give those off brand a try. Fits the machine great and works like a dream.

It works!
I was hesitant to use this instead of spending about seven times as much for the Bernina part. After fiddling with it I realize that it works just fine and I’m very happy with it. The quilted piece moves perfectly well using this device.

Did not fit properly on Bernina Artista 640. Needle position way off!
Even though this foot did go on you could not use it effectively as the needle position even in center on my machine did not center in the middle of the foot opening. You had to move the stitch needle two positions to the left to get it to center in the middle of the foot, so this is a defective foot and not made for the Bernina 640. Not sure about any other Bernini’s. Sent it back as it was messing up my machine and the quality of the stitches.

Works like a champ
This is not an official Bernina walking foot. That said, it works like a champ and is far less money than a Bernina walking foot would cost. The "instructions" that come with it are of no use. They don't identify the different pieces that come with it or how to use them. I had to get a friend who quilts to come over and show me how to attach the walking foot to my machine. It's because of this, I only gave it four stars. The walking foot, once you get it on there, is a dream and I think I might just keep it on my machine all the time.

Does not fit Bernina 1260
And I waited too long to try it out, now I'm outside the return window 😭 technically it was my fault that I didn't make sure my machine was on the list of compatible machines. However they make it rather difficult to find. Here is some information that was very helpful, inside the box. The item in my order was BW-1/P60443.

I opted for this due to price, as the name brand one is over $100. It fits on the machine, but after only a few rows of quilting, the rubber piece fell right off. I have glued the rubber foot back on but don’t have confidence it will stay. I have not used it since the gluing.

When sewing over heavy or thick layers, the quilt foot comes undone. It is not finely machined and the groves on the side of the foot don't fit into the foot plate. Given that this foot mostly doing this type of sewing (quilting layers), it's useless. The foot that was initially fitted and how it arrived in the box works fine.
