Great quality and great story. Everyone needs to watch this. Just an uplifting story that does the soul good. It teaches so many sound and true principles of Life. And has a Happy Ending. Who doesnt like a happy ending?

First reason for watching this movie was, it starred Richard Thomas -John Boy in the Walton's.I remember the first time I had the pleasure to watch this movie. My son (3 yrs old) and I were living with my mom. The story was first told to me by my Great-Uncle & grandfather when I was a very young girl. In the "Entertainment" section of the Sunday newspaper back in the early 1970's. So, when my mom told me what our tv line-up for the week was going to be Yes, Virginia there is a Santa Clause.I was brought up with Do you believe in Santa Clause (or the Tooth Fairy, Sandman, Easter Bunny, Cupid, etc) then you believe in Miracles and God.The only unforunate thing about buying the movie, streaming it, the movie gets shorter and every line they cut out, they cut out the miracle of the story itself. PLEASE STOP CUTTING THIS MOVIE, PUT EVERYTHING BACK IN, I'LL BE HAPPY TO PAY MORE FOR MORE. I'M SICK AND TIRED WITH PAYING MORE FORE EVERYTHING AND GETTING MUCH LESS.

This endearing story is one of my favorite Christmas movies! I was thrilled when I found it on DVD, as I have searched often! The heart of Christmas is Love & this story is full of that ! So so special& I love the theme music too! Very poignant.

Just a nice Christmas movie.

This is I must say one of thee best family geared & holiday films Bronson had made in his later years , I saw this as a kid & loved and finally found it on DVD , * it seemed to be transferred to dvd- but I am assuming it * But, it is STILL a great film for family & friends & the holidays ! I say if you can't find it else where be sure to order a copy just to show the family at holiday times - it brought back great memories for me as most of my family has passed on now - it brought me to tears of joy & happiness getting to think back to when I first seen this with my family years ago.. a good warm family feeling I missed for so long of time... It's must have too if your a true blue Bronson fan also! God Bless everyone & Happy Holidays !!!

I actually was surprised at how much I enjoyed this movie. It's an old movie but the quality is quite good. And Charles Bronson did a great job as the newspaper writer. Richard Thomas was also great, playing the part of the father. It's a good family movie and I'd recommend it to anyone.

This DVD stars Richard Thomas (of the Waltons), with Edward Asner and Charles Bronson. The rest of the cast is also excellent. It is a well known tale about this famous editorial. The writers did take quite a turn on the story, in that the original Virginia was the daughter of a well to do surgeon and not a poor Irish immigrant. It is still a charming story and shares family values of friendship, hope and joy.

It is a heartwarming story. We love it.

It doesn't play on my machine, I didn't realise the world is split into different zones, the dvd is zone 1 USA, the UK is zone 2, the machine can be sorted to play zone 1 but after 5 plays it would become frozen in that zone and would no longer play zone 2, so a waste of money

I absolutely love this movie! It is one of my all-time favourite Christmas movies and I'm happy to finally see it on DVD all these years later. Better late than never!

This movie is a wonderful Christmas story and I highly recommend sharing with children and adults. The movie originally was shown on television and I was so pleased to see it was now on DVD.

Loved it, I seen this years ago on tv and they never showed it again and I have always wanted it!!!
