About the Author April Hawkins, BSED - Baylor University, has taught elementary, middle, gifted and talented, and pre-k students. She has seen that children learn best when they are actively engaged with their hands, their world, and their creativity. This inspired her to utilize the multi-sensory activities in ABC FUN as she worked with one of her daughters to learn her ABC’s. April is currently engaged in one of life’s most rewarding and challenging educational opportunities, parenting, while staying at home with her children.
