OXO Good Grips Toilet Brush, White

I liked my 1st OXO toilet brush and decided to get another for the 2nd bathroom. Found this one with the extra set of bristles to get under the rim. The brush and bristles are nice and still to get a really good scrubbing. Especially since we have hard water and it is hard to keep up with hard water deposits. This model with the canister is easy to use without having to touch too much. the canister opens and closes by itself. This OXO is a bit pricier than the flimsy ones I had been buying but so far it is really durable and I expect it will last much much longer.

My old toilet bowl brush's container broke apart due to age degradation. So I had nowhere to store my old brush. An update and improvement was in order. I turned to one of my most trusted companies - OXO. I love OXO products in my kitchen, and slowly I'm using their other products all throughout my home. There are two sizes of this bowl brush and container. I chose the larger size. The separate long blue bristles look weird, but it works as designed to get up under the bowl rim, plus it can reach under the bowl cover hinge to clean thoroughly. The brush itself works perfectly. The brush head is small enough that it can clean the entire bottom of the bowl, down in the lowest part. My old brush couldn't do that. And the holder is ingenious. To extract the brush one simply lifts, and the doors open and stay open, until the brush is put back into its place. The base of the brush holder has openings to allow the water to evaporate, which is an absolute necessity. The only detraction that I'll mention is that I had to tighten down the brush head upon receipt, because it came loose from the factory. That took all of two seconds. Otherwise, this is another fantastic OXO product; perfectly designed, sturdily made, and reasonably priced.

The brush is really nice to use, has a sturdy handle, and gets the job done. The container also does a good job of not letting the brush get too dirty after each use. I like that the brush part is also replaceable, so I get to own this a lot longer than most toilet brushes. My only drawback with it (and it really isn't a problem thanks to the cone shape of the brush) is the "helpful" blue parts for getting the under rim of the toilet bowl. They just aren't long enough to actually reach anything, so they aren't actually being used. Maybe it's just the shape of my toilet, but it is a shame I can't really get a benefit from that piece.

I've been a fan of OXO products for a while. I had the OXO Compact Toilet Brush before, and it was really good. Simple, but it worked every time. I decided to try this new version because I thought it would be better. The first thing you'll notice with this one is it feels more solid. They made it tougher, and it seems like it will last longer. That's a good thing. But, there's this blue part they added that's supposed to help clean the toilet rim. Honestly, it doesn't do much. It feels like they added it just to say there's something new. It's a bit disappointing because I expected more from OXO. I still use it, and it's okay for regular cleaning, but don't expect the blue part to make a big difference. It's kind of a trick. Overall, it's a decent toilet brush because it's strong. But the older model was simpler and just better at doing the main job. If you're looking for a basic, reliable brush, the older model is a better choice. This one's okay, but it could be better without the gimmicky part.

Every home harbors the dreaded task of keeping the toilet bowl clean. This OXO brush set makes the job so much easier. The handle is long and the brush head includes stiff blue bristles to clean under the rim. The storage caddy keeps the brush clean and dry. It is an attractive item so having it out in the open is a no-brainer. We love this product!

I never thought I would review a toilet brush. This toilet brush does have great stiff bristles and it is designed to clean under the bowl. I like the receptacle that it's in because it holds the brush in place.

OXI makes god household products.

The replaceable head is the best feature of this product. The "Under the rim" brush also works well. The one poor point is that it is hard to clean the brush holder as it does not seem to disassemble. So debris can collect at the bottom of the holder and there is no way to scrub it clean. So I need to replace it.
