Skymarks Daron KC-10 USAF McGuire AFT New Livery Airplane 1/200 (SKR534)

Got this for a family member who was very happy with it - they said it has perfect detail and it snapped together effortlessly. No need for glue = high point! It's sturdy and looks great put together. Everything arrived in pieces, but each piece was intact ;)

This is a good model. There are a few things that could make this a great model. First, there are gaps between the wings and fuselage. It's a snap-fit model, so that is excusable. For me, I had a hard time getting the engines on. I don't know if that was a problem with the model or me. The instructions were just a picture, which were no help at all. To be honest, you really don't need instructions to put it together, though. The one thing I would like them to change is to paint the stand a matching gray. In fact, I am probably going to do it myself one of these days. Fix the gaps between the wings and fuselage, and paint the stand a matching gray, and this would be perfect. Even with my minor criticisms, I still think this is a 5 star model.

I LOVE these replicas! This material (plastic?) is perfect for aircraft models, and this KC-10 has been beautifully rendered. It required a little sanding on the parts and tabs to make the fit just right, but it was worth it. Would love to see Daron do several B-52 models in this material. This KC-10 model is well worth the price.

Assembles simply and looks lovely when completed. Fuselage is thick and tough, while the tail wings are semi-delicate. Long story short: the KC-10 Extender is amazing.

I got this model, because i could not get it at the Air Mobility Command Museum at Dover AFB, I gave it 4 Stars because i wish skymarks would make Livery's with other Air Force Base's on the Tail, But the Plane its self is Good.

Well received and very good details and easy to assemble. I think it is plastic material but very well done.Don't hesitate to buy when you need it.Looks good in the seating room or on top of cupboards in the house.

I spent 25 years flying the KC-10 from McGuire and this model was true to life from the tail flashing to a true tail number. Construction is good and easy to assemble. My daughter is having her second children, a boy and she doing an airplane themed nursery, so this will be part of his room, something that his granfather (me) actually flew.
