Had the fixed unit for 4 years changed to this one for the wife but benefits for me as well.gained extra height, I am 6'2", head was always too close to the old shower head, think I have gained at least a couple of inches headroom, it really makes a difference to be able to move the shower head to those hard to reach places, like your feet! and also for cleaning the shower. very good range of settings and water pressure. The only complaint I have had with both types (many other reviewers as well) is the leakage around the filter assembly which gets worse over time, it does not seem to affect the performance of the shower and you can direct the small leak stream towards the back of the shower so it is not noticeable but this is something they should fix.

Best Shower Results in Years....
I took me three years to switch brands, but I'm more than happy that I did. This ProPur ProMax Handheld Shower Filter with Massage Head provides a shower result that almost makes showering better than traveling (well almost). The installation was a breeze (they include the special water seal tape), and the result was amazing. The flow of the water is not compromised, and the Shower Massage Head is flexible, durable and includes many options for water control.The only problem that I have is that....... I don't want to STOP showering.
