Great necklace! I purchased this as a gift and the recipient loved it! It is so inexpensive, but you would never think so by looking at it. Before buying this necklace, I shopped around and looked at various department and jewelry stores. The prices were extremely high and I couldn't think of a single reason as to why. There wasn't anything special about these expensive necklaces. Some of them weren't even shiny and had more of a dull and weathered look to them. Having no luck brought me to Amazon and I'm glad it did! This necklace is very shiny and really catches your attention. The chain doesn't feel cheap and I wasn't worried it would break. The person that I gifted it to still wears it after receiving it months ago. I'm really impressed and happy about the quality of this necklace!

This necklace, sized for a close fit around the neck, makes for a nice, subtle accent and works well regardless of what I'm wearing.I own several pendant necklaces, but those types of necklaces don't work with collared dress shirts because they aren't subtle enough or in the gym, where they get in the way when getting onto and off of a weightlifting bench. (If you go to the gym straight from somewhere where you need to be dressed, you either need to take such necklaces off or tuck them into your tank top or shirt.)Because it's so unobtrusive, I typically wear it to bed and often don't remember I'm wearing it. I don't wear it into the shower though (like I do my sterling silver earrings, for example), so I don't know if there are any ill effects from doing that.If I had to mention an issue, it's that the necklace occasionally turns so that the clasp ends up on the front-side of my neck, but the clasp looks presentable enough, so it's not a big deal.

I have ordered myself a new cross necklace and I didn't care for the chain. But the bail hole for the chain was so small I wasn't sure I would be able to find a chain to fit. This chain worked out perfectly. I love the box chains because I have long hair and I find that a box chain does not get tangled in my hair on the back of my neck as much as any other type of chain. This chain in particular is very shiny, and very dainty which is just what i wanted. It goes perfectly with my little cross charm and will work well with variety of other pendants that I have as well. It feels very sturdy and secure but I will update with more use. So far I am very pleased. If your thinking about it don't hesitate this was a good buy.

I like this thin Sterling silver chain very much. It is very pretty and feminine I can wear it with or without a pendant, it looks good both ways and shines nicely, it also feels sturdy. I am happy with this purchase but not too happy with how the seller advertises it. When I first saw the chain I noticed next to the picture of the chain it said "Prime time" so I bought it hoping to get it in two days and that would have been Mother's day. Instead it arrived in 4 days. I contacted amazon and they told me to contact the seller because according to amazon this item is not "Prime time". I then wrote to the seller as well. the seller replied saying that prime time is a 3 to 5 day shipping and excluding weekends, this is not so. Prime time does deliver everyday of the week and it is only two days, this is why I like to use prime time. The price is very good and the chain is beautiful but I just wanted to warn those that look for prime time purchases to look into it very well before purchasing to make sure it will be a two day purchase. I will give 4 stars because I really do like the chain but did not like the way this issue was handled considering it was posted as Prime time.

I ordered this to replace a much shorter chain on a favorite necklace. I do not like the shorter chains, but was worried this would not be as pretty as the original. For the price I decided to give it a chance and if I did not like it I would either return it or give it to my daughter. It arrived very fast - especially for this time of year when packages seem to take 2 or 3 times longer to arrive. I pulled it out of the packaging and put the pendant on it from my other necklace then tried it on - Perfect! It is the perfect length so I don't have to undo the clasp to take it off (I have arthritis so this is a huge help for me) and the color is just perfect for the pendant. It is light weight so I barely feel it. No irritation on my skin like some other chains have caused. If I ever need another chain I will be looking to buy from this company.

The chain itself is quite nice -- it's a shiny, smooth, sturdy silver chain. Makes a nice holder for a shiny silver pendant. But the clasp itself is tiny and flimsy. I've been having a hard time opening it, and keeping it open long enough to hook the other end through. I don't have this problem with other necklaces -- I think it's just that this clasp is cheap. For the price, I can't be too surprised, but it would have been nice if they'd charged an extra dollar and used a better clasp.
