They were easy to install, they look great now and work well but don't look like they will hold up for more than 5 years.

Item delivered promptly, in nice reusable plastic snap-lock bag. Cleat appears well made with minimal tooling marks and nicely polished finish. I cannot rate the actual performance as I have decided to return this due to the inadequate hardware included with it. The machine screws appear to be stainless steel but are undersized and have a flat-based head rather than a tapered head to fit the holes in the cleat. I could go to the hardware store or marine supply house and buy the correct bolts but would likely be out an additional $10 and inconvenienced. I don’t include the fact that the included nuts not being friction or lock nuts as I was forewarned by previous reviews and had replacements in my parts bin. Also as noted in other reviews, the small rubber pads are a wonky albeit functional substitute for a spring-based system.*** UPDATE: After I returned this item for the hardware issue, I purchased a pair of identical cleats [https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08S7DPXNW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1] which came with the appropriate hardware. This cleat has a nice finish. Not sure how heavy duty it is. Picture shows bolts with tapered heads the ones sent are flat and don't seat properly in cleat. Rubber pads do not stay in place while trying to install cleat. Instructions do not address this issue. As others have commented lock washers or nuts would have been better. Bought for lite use on a 14' sailboat so works for me.

Nicely made folding cleat. Only small complaint is the installation of the little rubber bumpers which hold the cleat in its open position. There is video online where they show where they go but don't show which direction they go (there is "notch" of sorts) or how to keep them in place when actually mounting. Once installed they it works fine. Sturdy using 1/4" line.

I received it today and installed it on my bass boat right next to the driver's seat. It will make docking a lot easier. I have to admit that I wasn't expecting such a nicely finished and stout piece of hardware. It looks really nice. Like others have said, it would have been nice if it came with lock nuts.

Be careful with the small rubber insert underneath the cleat. It can move out of place and make the lift up position off.
