Really nice coaxial compression kit for a reasonable price.
My husband has quiet an impressive collection of tools however he did not have anything like this coaxial crimper. We are seasonal campers and last year when were setting up we realized we needed a longer coaxial cable to reach the outdoor antenna. My mom had some extra cable at home so she gave it to us however it is a 100 ft cord. We used it however we had a large amount of it just sitting wound up as there was no way for us to shorten the cord to the length we needed. This year that will not be an issue with this neat little apparatus. The tools seem very easy to work with. My husband right away tested them out and said they work very well. This is not really something that we will reach for daily, however it is an awesome tool to have. I am impressed with the quality and its ease of use. This is a great set for the cost.

Finally a COAX tool that works
This is my 3rd COAX tool that I am trying. First 2 were so flimsy that either the tool broke after couple of use or the quality of finished job was poor. So I was hesitant to go for 3rd trial but I had to try it. I am just a house owner that wanted to complete the cable runs that the developer had left without connectors in my basement. First of all, this striping tool was sturdy. The other 2 that I tried had screw coming off (used to change the cable type) and it wouldn't go back in at all. Once you can't put back the screw, the tool is useless. Second, the compression tool was very simple but effective: pick the type of cable connector and adjust the length - and press down. That's it. I was able to complete 6 connectors job in no time -- and the job looks professional and works well. I am using one for TV antenna and the other for MOCA (gocoax) adapters. I am getting full signal/speed on both usage. I am very happy with the tool and I hope this can help someone pick the right tool and save some time and frustration. FYI - you can see the difference in picture of few common striping tool sold in Amazon. The one included in this package is much sturdier than the "other" common stripper found. Good luck.

Good product, works great once you push coax deep into connector
Works great once you figure out exactly what you need to do, instructions are vague, dont tell you you need to really push coax as far as possible.

This is the exact set I needed all along.
This set makes doing a coax connector easy. I have been dealing with shotty tools to make a coax connection for years. Finally decided to go for something that will make doing this easier. This set is the perfect choice. Don't use those cheap screw on connectors. The solder connectors are even worse. This set is so easy and when you are in tight spaces trying to do a connection this is the perfect setup. You get everything you need, strippers/cutters, some connectors, and a tool to compress the connector. I even kept the box, so everything is in one place. I recommend this.

Horrible connectors. OK tools.
Don't buy if you're expecting to use the included coax connectors. Not sure if I got a bad batch, but once you crimp it onto a coax cable, the screw part no longer turns. You can get it to turn eventually with some work, but it's never smooth. You can also move the cable position by holding the connector and tugging the cable, so I'm not sure how secure these actually are. I tried higher-quality connectors and it was a huge difference. The tools were ok. I thought the coax strip tool was a little annoying because the guard to stop the coax cable and strip it at the right location isn't big enough. You just kind of have to eyeball it. I could see it being annoying if you have to do a ton of these. Returned to get a higher-quality set.

Nice compact kit…works!
I’m managing, cleaning up, and expanding the coax/cable antenna distribution in my recently purchased home. Previous owner did a sort of hack job, pulling cable to literally every room, all run by the heating vents…ugh. Just poking out the side of the vent grills, or worse, through the grill. On the one hand I appreciate that he brought cable to every room, on the other…why did you cheap out and do that? I guess I already know the answer: because it was cheap and easy. Fortunately it’s not that hard of a fix, I’m just putting plates in at 18” AFF, above the vents. House originally had satellite TV, which I immediately ripped down (hate that dish on the roof). Replacing this with an off air powerful antenna and distribution amp. For radio and local TV. So far so good, this little kit is helping me get there. Along with the coax plates I’m adding network cat6 distribution. For fun and because it’s worth the effort in the process. I’ll have a little LAN in the house, for whatever I want to do with it.
