My knee has been killing me for almost a year I thought it was pain from inflammation and tight muscles and tendons but after seeing some doctors and getting X-rays I now know I have moderate arthritis. The day I started taking these my pain went from a consistent eight or nine to one or two at most and often a zero. I know it's not going to heal the damage but it has taken the pain away which was so bad I could barely sleep I could barely walk It hurts to sit it hurt to stand everything was terrible. I felt like I was 80 when I turned 40. Thanks to Dona and my chiropractor that suggested it, I actually feel like I have hope to improve my life and can be active enough to hopefully lose weight and reduce the degeneration in my knees and back. It's going to be a hard journey but it felt almost impossible with the amount of pain I was in before Dona. It's expensive but it is worth every penny.

In addition to many other arthritis supplements, I've taken various brands and dosages of glucosamine for decades. Nothing ever helped but I kept trying. The apparent difference is that DONA uses crystalline versus regular glucosamine...don't know what that means, but it works.This stuff has noticeable effects: my very painful hands - especially the base of my thumbs - feel much better now. The pain was so bad that even without moving my hands the constant ache was excruciating. Now, with this DONA supplement, they only hurt slightly when I lift something the wrong way. This is a dramatic change.I noticed my pain lessening after two weeks. My husband's knee pain didn't change until he'd been on DONA for about two months now. He's just barely feeling an improvement; we'll see when more time has elapsed. It's sure worth a try. Shipping is very prompt and the oblong tablets are easy to swallow. We take two at the same time, daily with food. (I don't know if taking on an empty stomach would be a problem - I just take with food since that's easier to remember.)

My research has concluded Crystalline Glucosamine Sulfate is the only version of glucosamine that might offer relief of the pain and/or inflammation in my beat up knee. DONA, made by Madaus GmbH and distributed in the USA by Mylan Consumer Healthcare, Inc., appears to be the best option.Unfortunately, one of the bottles I purchased had a broken seal. The plastic shrink wrap around the cap was split, and the paper/foil seal on the bottle wasn't glued down.Therefore, I do not want to risk using this supplement.There is a "Questions or Comments" number listed on the box. However, calling it only led to a lengthy, frustrating call with someone who was difficult to understand, who didn't resolve the issue and only said she would send me an email address for me to send in a receipt and photos to someone else. So far, I have yet to receive even this information. Why doesn't Mylan just put the email on the packaging?While I understand the risk the product is contaminated is low, it's not one I feel is worth taking.It appears my $35 has been completely wasted, as has the half hour it took to get to the dead end of calling the help number.

this is a good product .. to get results need to take at least for a month and every day to see results.

I have Seronegative Rheumatoid Arthritis, which I take an injection for, but now that I've gotten older, I've also developed Osteoarthritis, which my injection doesn't target. This specific brand: Dona was recommended by my Rheumatologist, and I was skeptical at first, because I tried other glucosamine chondroitin products that didn't work. It took a few weeks, but it definitely kicked in and I found relief!It's gone up in price since the pandemic, but I still use it and keep my fingers crossed that the price will go back down and level off, because it really does work!

That it does not work instantly. I have been taking it for almost 2 mths and it is finally starting to help with joint pain, specifically the shoulders. The bottle does indicate what I've found to be true, that it takes diligent use to find the relief, as my rheumatologist warned me as well. A bit pricey but worth it.
