I sat by my window, waiting for the delivery van. Although I'd only ordered these the day before, I simply couldn't wait for them to arrive. The suspense was too much. Hours seemed like weeks. I kept thinking about the sad, broken, plastic feet on my ironing board and found it so hard to keep myself together. We've been through a lot, you see—shirts, trousers, even socks when I felt like it. While waiting, I'd go into the spare room, reach out my hand and give the ironing board a gentle jiggle. She'd rock ever so slightly, unsteady on her once sturdy legs.After 22 long hours without food, water or sleep, they arrived. I ripped that packaging open, recording the unboxing for my video channel. I fixed my eyes on four beautiful, white, rubber ironing board feet. Here they were, nestling in my hands like jewels from the Queen's crown. They were mine now. I held them tight and climbed the stairs to the room where my wobbly ironing board sat, looking sad and unloved. I stroked it and whispered, "Don't worry, I'm here."Gently, I turned her over and raised her metal legs. Tenderly I removed the remains of her broken shoes. One by one, I eased the new rubber feet on, setting each with a final soft, comfortable twist.I righted her, barely able to contain my excitement. I took 20 seconds to prepare myself before lowering her outstretched legs to the floor. I held her in my arms before placing her down. First, I removed one hand, then the other. Like a proud father teaching his firstborn to ride a bike without stabilisers, I let go. She was on her own now, free, independent and rejuvenated. Now was her time to stand on her own four legs.My goodness, those rubber shoes were good. They had a grip like racing car tyres, hugging every bend and twist of the floor. The slick tyres had a minimalist tread pattern to ensure a dependable grip in the wet.I moved her just a bit, and there was not a hint of oversteer or understeer—just perfect balance and purchase. Feeling confident, I placed the flat of my palm on the ironing surface and tested her poise. Solid. Unmoving. Stable.Egged on by the performance rubber shoes, I switched on the iron, grabbed a creased up pillowcase. The iron alerted me it was hot enough, so I plunged the hot surface onto the cotton. I ironed back and forth, smoothing crinkles out and forging creases in. The ironing deck stood firm and unwavering, back to its former glory.These rubber ironing board shoes were standing up to everything I threw at them. The technology was staggeringly simple yet gave such advanced results. Back to basics engineering bereft of superfluous innovations. Just pure, round, white, rubber feet.One rarely has life-changing events, but when you do, you look back and realise your struggles are over and better days are ahead. I'd like to shake the hand of the person who designed these and every man, woman and child who has worked so tirelessly to make them a reality. Thank you.If you are looking for a new set of white rubber feet for your ironing board (or even a wonky side table), don't hesitate. Don't settle for imitations. Go for these. They will, literally, change your life.

They fit very well and stop the metal ruining the carpet

similar to other reviewers I bought these as replacement feet for my ironing board as the brittle plastic feet they came with have split and cracked, they are a good tight fit and look like they will last!

I had bought some of these previously, but they were more square at the bottom, and I had difficulty fitting them. It also meant that the ironing board was always a bit wobbly. When they started disintegrating, I looked for more. These had a good rating and looked more rounded. When they arrived, I was so happy when they were easier to fit, and then the ironing board was finally steady after many years of wobbling. I don’t know why I hadn’t changed them before! Highly recommended for ironing boards.

Das Produkt ist hervorragend. Habe 21 mm Rohrdurchmesser an meinen Bügelbrettfüßen und die neuen Kappen haben 22 mm Durchmesser. Die Qualität ist genau das , was ich wollte. Vollgummi, vulkanisiert. Im Inneren befindet sich zur Verstärkung eine Metallplatte am Kappenende. Desweiteren sind Gummiringe im Inneren angeordnet, die die Festigkeit am Rohr verstärken. Nach Überstreifen absolut leise Handhabung. Sehen toll aus und hinterlassen keine Streifen auf Fliesen und dergleichen. Wow, ich freu mich und der Preis ist allemal gerechtfertigt.
