Expensive but fits well, looks neat and tidy and does the job

When I bought my Fiat I also bought the Fiat/TomTom adapter along with the specific TomTom that fitted into it. Every year I purchased the updated maps and Live Services software which ended up being expensive. I haven't been able to buy the maps for a couple of years as TomTom have stopped producing them for that model.When I discovered that Fiat now sell an adapter for mobile phones I went to my local Fiat garage to take a look. To my delight it fitted into the port in my (now quite old) Fiat. I bought it from Amazon because the Fiat garage didn't know how to sell one to me ! It works well - much better that the stick on phone holders. The only thing to be aware of is that it sits really low in the dashboard port holder. As using a phone constantly in the car, for Google Maps, necessitates it being permanently connected to a charging cable I had to also buy a cable with a right angled connection into my phone. That's the only reason for 4 stars and not 5.

Having tried various stick on the screen or stick on the dashboard phone holders, and concluding that "stick" is precisely what they do not do (especially if the sun comes out), I opted to stop wasting my money and get this genuine Fiat part to fit the slot on the dashboard (Fiat 500). It is perfect in every way, and there is no chance of the phone falling over mid-journey. It is a bit pricey for what it is, but that is normal for genuine parts - and nobody was twisting my arm. I am happy with it, and only wish that I had bought it sooner.

This is the most expensive phone holder this side of the Mississippi but it fits snugly in to the specially designed receptacle on the top of the dash. Takes an iPhone 13 Pro Max easily and locks in to place with a twist of the knob. Fits like a glove.

Avoid if you have a Punto! This cradle was only designed with the other Fiat cars in mind, as their port on the dash is flat, whereas on the Punto it is on an angle so it means that when using this phone holder, the highest your screen will tilt is no where near high enough to be in your eyeline. It points towards the handbrake! This is a manufacturing problem by Fiat and not a problem by Partsworld.

Daughter just got a Fiat 500 and wanted to use her phone as sat nav/handsfree/music. This phone holder and the hole in the dashboard provide a brilliant solution - the phone is held securely unlike those clips that attach to the air vent etc. No worries at all about her getting distracted by it falling, so very very happy with it. But £75 for a £20 holder and a plastic pole to go in the hole in the dashboard ? Scandalous.

This fits the Fiat 500 2011 model. If any fiats have a connector on the top of the dash then this will fit. Just bought a GARMIN - DriveSmart 66 6” Satnav and it just about fits. This will be the maximum size it will go to. Don’t know why it’s so expensive but it’s for a captive audience so no choice. I’ve searched and there doesn’t seem to be anything else available. 4 stars because of expensive price.
