It’s kind of cheap
I changed the 3M tape as the stuff that came on it, it’s not worth a pot. The plastic grill insert bowed so bad that I rubberbanded it around a coffee can for a week to try to shape it so it would not bow out. Looks good but will test it this winter.

All it needs to be 1/2 inch taller,, I love the look it gives my truck.

Scratched in the box when I opened it
Was a cool scoop, overpriced for the cheap plastic that it was. But I was ok with that because I didn’t care about the price. However when I opened it and there were scratches all over it, completely unusable, I got aggravated and sent it back. The packaging was not adequate. I don’t see how any of these make it to consumers without being scratched all over

Nice scoop
Just the size and profile I needed for my Impala. Low profile, wide, and longer than the smaller ones they sell on Amazon.I skipped the 3M tape, peeled it off, threw it away. Applied glue to adhere the decorative intake to the scoop. Drilled holes (with patience) through each existing hole in the intake and through the scoop itself, so now there are actual holes in the intake. Applied LED light strip inside the scoop behind the intake holes. Boom, light-up hood scoop. Definitely bought the right product. Could be a few bucks cheaper. But you get what you pay for.

Does not sit completely flush for a Jeep JK hood...
I initially bought this to install on my Jeep Wrangler. The scoop has a slight curve to it, however, the jeep hood is fairly flat. The stickers on the scoop (supposed to be 3M, but I didnt see the 3M logo on mine) would probably have held it down in place, but I didnt expect it too hold on against the fight of the curve and wind for a long period of time. Also, I bought used, and although it was 'Like New' condition, it was scuffed up a bit. According to Amazon, like new should be be scratched. It wasn't over the top, but still. It would have needed to be painted.Another thing to note that is not easy to tell in the picture is the vent portion is not open. Which makes sense because the wind would have gotten in there and sent this thing into orbit if it was open. The vent they have pictured is actually a sticker with holes in it. anyone getting up close would be able to tell.In the end I sending it back and will save for a complete hood replacement with the scoops and air vents built in.

Eye catching
Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted that Aston Martin look. This was the closest I could find. The low-rise inlet and a very thin tapering to the rear made a beautiful silhouette from all angles on my solstice. Because I put it so low on my hood the two front tips were not able to adhere. To make sure that they were made flush I decided to use automotive epoxy glue in lieu tape.

It can be fabricated to be functional
Fit on my 1995 Mustang GT with some fabrication, few pop rivets later it's not going anywhere! I did drill out each hole to make the grill functional as well. Worth the money if you know what you are doing.
