All purpose silicone lids
These are excellent for all types of kitchen needs. They are easily cleaned and stored, and I took advantage of another reviewer's suggestion and used the smallest size to cover an open can in my refrigerator and it worked great. I no longer use plastic wrap or aluminum foil to cover left overs and the food stays much fresher. These are a must in any kitchen.

My Pans are Older (and bigger)
I have only 1 real problem with these lids -- when cooking something hot it's really hard to put a 6" lid on my 1 quart 5.75" pot. I have to center it "just right" to have 1/8" overhang. I end up using only 3 lids of the set in order to get a decent overhang and secure placement and use the original lid for my large pan/pot. I will admit that my pots and pans are mid-70's era Farberware so maybe the newer ones are smaller and you can use all of these on the intended size. And as a caution - you need to be careful when breaking the seal, removing the lid, in order to NOT get a steam burn. These babies really do seal well. They don't bang and clang, they can be dropped without waking up everybody within a mile and if they were just a little bit bigger I'd rate them 5 stars.

if I tap the lid on the side it easily floats off
I wish these would have come with an instruction page. I have no Idea how to use them. I have placed them on a bowl and attempted to lift the lid off by the "handle" in the middle and it seems to be secured to the bowl by suction. however, if I tap the lid on the side it easily floats off. I cannot tilt the bowl without the lid sliding off. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Please help

I would recommend washing these by hand
It may say dishwasher safe but I've seen mold on these things. Nothing sits in my dishwasher after being clean for more than 24 hours, so I'm not sure what happened. I would recommend washing these by hand. Also, when you lift them from the steaming pot, be careful you don't burn your arm.

NOT 100% Food Grade Silicone
Works great but I am suspicious whether it is entirely safe to use as it definitely includes unknown plastic filler and is not 100% food grade silicone because it failed the pinch and twist test--turned whitish.

Steady and great seal
These tops are awesome! I can't believe the seal it makes on bowls. I appreciate the various sizes so it will works on many different sized bowls I have. Mostly been using when camping. And it is strong enough to allow you to stack another bowl on top of it.

Too thick & heavy
I took off one star b/c these lids are much thicker and heavier than others I've seen. Plus, I don't like the seller's name imprinted in white on them - it's tacky looking. Was going to buy more for gifts and the seller was gracious about matching the price I originally paid for these for additional sets. But when these arrived, I changed my mind for the reasons mentioned. They do work great and I'll keep this set for myself. I would have liked one smaller than 6 inches for coffee and soup cups, but 6" is the smallest. I guess it all depends on how you plan to use them. But there are nicer (and more expensive) sets out there for gift-giving.

Very, very happy
These are great! I can use them to cover left-over bowls, as lids on pots on the stove, even as a hot pot holder in a pinch. And since they are very flat and pliable, they easily fit in any storage space. I had been thinking about getting silicon lids for over a year. Glad I finally took the plunge!
