Schafter 150DB Air Horn Car Truck Train Chrome 4 Trumpet Train Air Horn 12V 150 PSI Compressor

Installed in a 2006 Silverado 2500HD pick up. Horns mounted on firewall, compressor behind drivers seat, separately purchased horn button mounted in a spare panel on dash. Over all easy installation, drain plug almost impossible to remove. Wanted to set up a drain line for easy access and not have to remove compressor from truck to drain the tank. The plug was sealed in and soft material, took an hour to remove and is now removable with vice grips only. Threads for the plug are an odd metric thread, haven't found fittings to rework drain as yet. Compressor bleeds off air pressure , not sure if that is normal or if there is a slow leak in the system. Horn is loud, happy with that.

The product came on time, but the air solenoid was defective. It had a crack in the threads where the airline connects to horn set. It Leaks Air CONSTANTLY. I've tried contacting seller for 2-3 weeks with no reply. If i could, i would've ordered a different product. Now im stuck with a horn that does not work because air pressure isnt strong enough for the horn to work. Not to mention i had it professionally installed and now have to pay to have it removed, to sit in a box because i cant get a response from the seller. Stay away. Not worth wasting your time or money. I COULD order a new solenoid, but its from the same seller, and who wants to order a replacement part, when the orginal shouldve been replaced for free due to a defect from the seller.

Pretty much the best purchase ever. I’m pretty sure every one in my town hates me but it’s well worth it. If you are having a bad day just drive through Walmart parking lot with this horn and you will instantly be happy even if the horn isn’t working the people alone will make you feel better about yourself but the horn is the icing on the cake.

I was unsure what I’d think about this set up because of how cheep the price is but, I am very happy with the product in a whole. Everything was provided other then a 5$ relay and a push button. I installed this on a new ford so I did have to buy more wire for a longer reach. Other then that, everything went together very well. They do provide a detailed set of directions for those of you that have never taken on something like this. Nothing about this kit screams cheap and they are very loud! I recommend this kit to anyone that’s looking for a quality product at a cheap price.

Instructions poorly written- combination of Asian and English. Not all fittings for tank, etc. we’re included. Three different trips to hardware/auto supply stores.

When i hooked it up to power and let tank fill up it works great nice load sound from horns. But when the vehicles power is off it Wont stay aired up when just not in use. It let the air out the tank from near the pump when just sitting and not having power running. Ive had it hooked to a on/switch so it doent cont. To run and burn out the pump. My vehicle didnt have a spot to install to keyed ing.

Works great, but I did have to buy a push button for the horn and extra power wire because I mounted the tank in the bed of my truck and the horns under the bed

Item is junk. Worked for barely a year then piston broke inside compressor and tried to get replacement piston from company and because year warranty was up, they didn't want nothing to do with it. All I wanted is a replacement piston. Now the whole unit is worthless.
