UPDATED review:
Arrived with a cracked case and fork prongs were already bent. "Titanium" right....UPDATE: Briost, upon reading my review reflecting on the broken case and bent fork prongs, under their own initiative, sent me a second set at no cost to me. This set arrived in perfect condition, the case, and silverware. I use these daily at work and they've been excellent so far. My co-workers have even commented at how "cool" they look.Thank you Briost for going ABOVE and BEYOND to fix a problem that was most likely Amazon's and the Postal Services' rather than your own. Thank you for standing behind your product and behind your customers. 100% would recommend.

Fork tines need to be stronger
I guess if you eat like the Queen, carefully cutting each piece of food with a knife, then this set would be ok. But if you are lazy like me, and you use the fork to cut through softer foods, the tines on the fork bend much too easily. They are nice and lightweight, but they should have made the tines stronger at the expense of a couple of extra grams of mass. The other problems that I have with the set is the carabiner and brass eyelet that holds the set together when not in use is so cumbersome that you'll never want to use it; also the chopsticks are very slick and hard to use.If you want something lightweight for camping or keeping in your in-car emergency kit, get a good Ti Spork.I close with a positive note and say that they are actually quite nice to eat with despite the other shortcomings (except the chopsticks, and that may be lack of technique and talent on my part...)

If you appreciate the value of titanium, totally worth the $$$.
I really love it. Very high quality set that nests in a not-so-high quality plastic container, but is adequate; I'll probably swap that out at some point. Regardless, the actual titanium pieces really ROCK and no regrets on this purchase. This set looks so good that if there wasn't the holes in the end pieces you could set it out as regular dinner table cutlery. As it stands it's perfect for my desk at work so I don't have to eat with plastic forks anymore.I love the serrated edge on the knife; it's not a steak knife but it t really has some bite to it and cuts meat fairly well. No problems with the spoon or fork; I love how they look. The chopsticks are my favorite part of the set. Smaller then traditionally sized sticks but that is perfect so they can all nest together in the container. The big question: is it worth the money? Really, I could have grabbed a normal stainless set from my kitchen drawer at home. Well, if you buy into the theory that titanium cookware is healthier then eating from plastic, steel, or aluminum, then yes. It's totally worth it. If you are a backpacker who wants to cut down on their pack weight a bit; yes again it's worth it. If you enjoy having a very light and like the look of titanium utensils; yes, it is totally worth it. I'm looking at it as a "treat yo'self" kind of purchase with the caveat that I think titanium hss some health benefits worth investing in. Some people won't appreciate those points and for that group I say then titanium isn't for you: just grab a plastic or regular metal set and call it a day: no blame, no foul. I however am LOVING this purchase!

Okay, but cheaper alternatives. Case is very cheap and doesn't really close properly and chopsticks are small. Don't impulse buy
Pricey for what you get.Definitely not impressed with case that doesn't close smoothly. The piece to join the utensils together is kind of annoying too.Haven't used them camping yet. Chopsticks are quite small, but I assume everything works..Due to price and convenience, I'm not sure if I would recommend. Bought a set for me and wife, don't think I can justify buying another 2 sets for our camping partners

Useless box
We'll start with the bad. While everything comes in the box, once you unpackage and assemble the knife/fork/spoon with the nut, they no longer fit in the box. Also the lid just slips on with no catch or ridge to hold it on. So that went right in the bin. The D-ring is okay but I don't see myself using it. I haven't yet had use for the knife but i'm not sure it would be good for much more than spreading butter. It seems pretty dull and sharpening titanium isn't the easiest thing. I carry an actual knife on me so I'm considering just removing this from the kit. The chopsticks are short which makes them easy to carry but a little awkward to use. I knew that going in and one of the reasons I wanted this kit was the short chopsticks. I have full-length Ti chopsticks and they're great to use but awkward to carry, so these are the reverse. Ti is an awesome material for chopsticks though. The fork and spoon are functional and have decent "mouth feel". No complaints about them at all. It won't take much to knock up a case with some scrap neoprene material that I have and then I'll have a fork, spoon, and chopsticks to travel with wherever I go. A little expensive maybe but there's no reason they shouldn't last for decades.

Not what it seems.
The instruments are light weight but got scratched after the first wash (by hand). The box is very difficult to open since it slides and snaps closed at the same time, and the ring to keep them together is useless since there is no way to use it and put everything back in the box together. Also not practical to have everything tightly kept together when these are meant to be used often.
