Having the basic Magformers 14 piece set our 5 year old wanted the Carnival Wheel, but the price is ridiculously high. I found alternative brands at a fraction of the price and took a punt on this MagStories brand.Basically this Magstories is a bargain compare to Magformers, it does the job of building the wheel as required, so one happy 5 year old. The plastic appears to be sound, at least in looks it is similar to the Magformers I already have, but I obviously can't compare the relative robustness. The Magstories magnets are slightly weaker, so may be a problem in larger builds if mixing brands. Weaker magnets is the common theme in other brands too.Since the MagStories makes no claim other than what is on the box and that works, then at this price I can do nothing less than give it 5 stars and a recommended.

This was a birthday present for a 3 year old and she loved it. Making anything she wanted. Her 2 older sisters, 5 and 8 were also very enthralled, so much so I need to order more pieces. Very easy for youngsters to use, freedom of creativity, vivid colours, various shapes and washable.

The media could not be loaded.  Got them today and my son loves them already. To be honest, I've been playing with them too, pretending to show him. Good material, will probably buy more over time, to be able to combine them and make even bigger shapes

Excellent quality, although part holding up hexagon broke, so much disappointment that we can't do certain designs.

Brilliant, these are really good for my son who is disabled he loves them and makes it easy for him to attach them together.

Bought this for my 3 yr old grandson and he has had great fun with them. Very sturdy and well made.

I bought this for my 4 year old cousin for her birthday. It is a very nice piece of entertainment and she played with it for hours creating her own shapes! I also had lots of fun while helping her to build the wheel. The quality is very good and I would definitely recommmend them. Five stars for Magstories.

Bought for my nephew, they are perfect for young children to develop their fine motor skills, enjoy building and have lots of fun.A wee bit different from the usual building blocks.
