My husband and I are both old school hip hop lovers who grew up in the 90's. We intend to raise our children with a healthy love of hip hop music and this was just the perfect thing. The illustrations are bright and have a lot of contrast. Our 5 month old likes to look at the pages. We sing him songs related to the words on each page. This is really a very cute and useful gift for anyone in your life who is into old school hip hop.

SO can appreciate the hip hop references & funny lines like “Q is for Quit Playin’” while my son loves all the different babies & the bright, colorful drawings! Would absolutely recommend — for children & adults!

Just bought this for my brothers birthday! Growing up he would be glued to the BET channel… so this felt like a great fit in light of his upcoming child.When I went through the pages and they gave me a good giggle! Cute book for the parent who’s not ready to admit they will be listening to nursery rhymes instead of rap on the radio!
