Super great light, my daughter loves it!!
Got this for my daughter’s room. she was super excited to have an Alexa controlled multicolored light!It connected to Alexa super easily. Just download the bulbs app, connect to your WiFi then Alexa senses it automatically.Just wish ( and maybe she’ll learn this as an ability later) that Alexa could control the lights ‘modes’ like music mode or multicolor change mode. All-in-all...super pleased with this bulb!

Cool new technology
I am not a super techie sort of person. I do not see any reason that a normal bulb and switch would not work for you. But, I purchased these to play along with music when some two year olds are dancing. They work really well playing along with the baby shark song. Overall, they were easy to set up and fun to play with,

Great value, works great!
First of all, I relaly like the price point of these bulbs. It seems like most smart bulbs are pushing the $20/$30 range. I bought this to replace my entryway light that burned out recently and when it's set to warm white, it's just as bright as an incandescent light bulb. Set up was really easy (as long as you follow the instructions on the box!) and the app makes it super simple to control the hue and even set up shifting and flashing colors custom to your needs. Perfect for holiday use and general use. It was also really easy to link to my Google Home account, so now I can just use my voice to have my front entryway bathed in any welcoming hue I so choose. Great buy!

50w equivalent best for small area if wanting to illuminate walls
Only thing this lacks is its own speaker lol very cool light. Would recommend to anyone

Great option!
I bought this for a lamp on my front porch. I was originally going to purchase a timer until someone suggested a smart light-bulb. I looked at others that were nearly twice as much but opted for this item. Set-up was relatively easy but the best part is the ability to control it from my phone app. I can set timers to turn on/off, I can switch the colors so if there is a holiday I can change it, and I believe it has more functions than I have even discovered. I plan on getting more for around the house.

Almost half didn't even work. Junk.
I bought ten. Six arrived in working order. I struggled to get them to interface with the software. Try another company. I recommend Phillips--all of theirs arrived in good shape and were easy to set up.
