Hemamba Pack of 3 Magnetic Adaptors for use with our USB magnetic cable

Love these cables, I bought two of them, one for home and one for my truck, had no problem getting a fast charge for my iPad. Also use it for charging my Bluetooth earpiece and head lamp. I am easily able to swap between charging different items without even looking as you feel when they connect. One time the cable didn’t connect right, cured by blowing a bit of dirt away from where it had settled on the adapter. Pity they don’t have connectors available separately as I have a few other things I’d like to charge but don’t want more cables

Nice concept, but my personal experience was that it has a few weaknesses. I found it tricky to extract the connector after use even using the suppplied tool. Seemed to work OK with Lightning and micro-USB but struggled with the USB-C in my iPad Pro. Very tight fit and broke off when I tried to remove it with the tool leaving the tab inside. Just enough still sticking out to extract it with some needle-nosed grips thankfully but it was a bit scary! To be fair, when I reported the issue to Hemamba I got an almost immediate reply with the offer of a refund or replacement. Took the chance and went for a replacement - which was offered on the understanding that I would still have the option of a refund if it didn't work. Replacement was supplied very promptly (actually a set of three connectors and their own storage pouch). Tested it with an adaptor first - seemed a better fit this time - then tried iPad and managed to extract OK though I found the charging was intermittent. No complaints about the customer service but I think the design of the connectors needs some tweaking to make getting them out easier, perhaps some sort of flexible tab to grip? The third star is for the customer service.

Absolutely brilliant. Charges fast. Data transfer is fine. And all without having to 'unplug' it from your phone. I bought this, because the charger port on my previous phone eventually got so damaged that I could barely charge it or connect it to the pc. So I got a new phone and got this cable to minimise 'abusing' the charger port. I bought one cable to see what it's like, as I was a bit skeptical... but it's proven to be brilliant at home, in the car, in the office... so I will be ordering a few more. Though I wish I could just buy the cable as I don't necessarily need more of the pluggy in bits...

Prone to picking up metal filings on connector if you dont keep the connector end covered when not in use.This then prevents the connector from going onto the phone socket properly and its one hell of a job to remove very small bits of metal from inside the connector when they dont want to come out.In a nutshell, its a well made connector and set but prone to picking up metal filings so really should come supplied with a plug you can place over connector end when not being used to charge the phone to prevent metal ingress.

I don't usually do reviews, but I feel I must do so in this case as it is such a good product.I know a 5-star review can mean it is a fake/shill review, but I can't give this only 4 stars.No more fiddling around with different cables, worrying about forcing them in upside down, etc – this solves all those problems.Once you have fitted the insert into your device, the cable attaches itself effortlessly with a strong magnet and you immediately get a very fast charge.Get a couple or more of these and you can charge anything without worrying which cable fits which device – they work with iPhone/iPad, micro-USB or USB-C.It doesn't matter which way up the cable attaches to the magnetic insert – it works both ways up.I've tried other magnetic cables, but these are easily the best.Life is now so much easier and less fiddly.Highly recommended!

One of the things which isn't clear from the photos is the large plastic surround on each of the plug tips, which makes it difficult/impossible to fit them to some devices if you are using a case.Even without a case the USB-C tip sat out almost 2mm from the phone body making it impractical to keep it there, which surely is the whole point of this cable? The Lightning cable tip kept coming out of my iPhone SE when the cable was removed, suggesting it was not of the correct fit to start with.So all in all, a wasted experience.Lovely idea but poorly executed.

Delivery was as promised and the product feels very good in use. I really like the magnetic connectivity for the quick release and attachment of the cable to my mobile devices without putting pressure upon the data port. One cable is home based for charging and one is used in my vehicle for data connectivity (Android Auto or Apple Car-Play depending upon phone in use)
