Does not work with the Macan. Keeps flying off in wind. Even if well tightened. Happened several times. Stopped using

First, the 'operating instruction' booklet is written in Engrish.I'm not trying to be too critical because I'm sure they're English is a lot better than my Chinese. The 'magic tape' (basically Velcro®) does NOT stick to the carpet in my Mercedes-Benz R350. I tried it on my Honda Fit and it sticks perfectly. Oh well, Mercedes-Benz must use some screwy carpeting. I read the instructions, but just decided to ad lib it. It worked well. It fits well, but not perfectly. Since it's not a custom car, I didn't expect a perfect fit. The 'rope locking device' doesn't seem to grasp the rope well, butI'll work on it. Maybe I did something wrong. The car cover is a VERY shiny silver. My son said my car looks like a gigantic baking potato. I'll update the review after I removed the cover in the morning.

I come relatively late to this review and shall try not to repeat any of the salient information included in some of the excellent reviews that have preceded mine.I received the Y-50 for my Land Range Rover SUV and it fit perfectly "like a glove". I first read the (included) instructions - that are obviously translated from Chinese by a non-native speaker but are easy to understand - then embarked on taking the cover out of its bag, securing it to the back of the SUV, spreading it over the vehicle all the way to the front and securing it with the included tightening cords. In all, it took me a total of 6 minutes....Removing the cover was very simple and quick. On my second trial at covering the SUV, it took less than 30 seconds.The cover is made of sturdy double faced material; the outside is shiny waterproof polymer and the lining is a soft cottony velvet, to avoid abrasions to car surface. It is shipped in a sturdy package with the cover inside a tough canvas bag, a small plastic bag with anchor polymer ropes and a small "appreciation" gift.I left the car covered overnight in the driveway, through heavy rain; the water simply rolled off the cover. Underneath it the car was dry. I believe that the waterproof quality of the cover will be ideal protection in snowy rainy climate and a heat reflector in hot sunny days.I cannot comment about its longevity at this time but plan to do so after several months of testing in different weather conditions. But for now, I am impressed with the quality and fit of the OnlyTM car cover and recommend it.A complimentary sample provided for honest review. I love this car cover, its water resistance not like other brand with in 1 year lot of dust coming from the cover.

The first couple of times I used this cover, I pretty much used common sense. I must have lost the instructions. I contacted the supplier and they sent me a link to a video (should of thought of looking for it.) There are a few on Youtube. This made a world of difference. This cover goes on and comes off in only a couple of minutes - with one person.This is not a flimsy dust cover - it's a surprisingly strong and durable multiple layer reflective cover. I'm dying to try in when the snowfall starts to see how if the snow slides off or not. The top layer is reflective, the bottom layer is a soft batting-like material. One end has Velcro straps that secure inside your hatch or trunk, the other has a rot that extends.Watch the videos or read the instructions before use. Try it for the first time on your vehicle - don't just open it in the house to look at it (like I did.) It's a LOT easier when you use your car, but it was raining out and I wanted to look at this ASAP.This is ideal for short or long term storage. It's not going to dry-rot or crumble from exposure to the sun, it's fast and easy to use, and should last the life of your vehicle!
