My favorite brush from the 1990s broke a year ago. I have been searching high and low for a good replacement. 3 brushes later, I found most brushes share one major fault: the ball-tips on the bristles would fall off in a month or two and the exposed bristle tips are as sharp as needles that can leave bloody marks on the scalp. It appears many people are complaining the same issue. So I did some research on why brushes in the old days did not have this issue. It turns out that the ball tip and the bristle were molded as a single piece in the old days as oppose to the ball tip is applied on the bristle as a separate process in the modern days. Since the materials for the ball tip and for the bristle are not the same, they have different thermal expansion and contraction properties, which get amplified when the brush is used with a hair-dryer. As a result, the ball tips can separate from the bristle after a few uses. After exhaustive search, I found this brush made by Kent. Its bristles have no applied on ball tips so I don't need to worry about the ball tips falling off. It feels super comfortable as its thick bristle slide across the scalp. My initial feel on the overall quality is good. Only time could tell its durability.

This brush boasts some of the finest quality plastic bristles I've ever encountered, making the task of detangling hair a breeze. However, the rubber base where the bristles are inserted is quite rough and hard. This results in a somewhat abrasive brushing experience, particularly for those with thinner hair or for older individuals. It's a shame because I've scoured Amazon for a brush that combines the excellent bristle quality with a softer base, to no avail. I believe there's a significant market demand for such a product. If the manufacturer could address this issue, it would be a game-changer for many of us!

The media could not be loaded.  I love the handle, that it’s narrow as I have small hands. It’s easy to hold on to. The brush feels good on my head, not too hard, just enough stimulation. The brush is easy to clean and leaves my hat smooth and shiny.

Best brush I’ve bought (out of the 10 I’ve bought and tried on my pup.) Thank you to the designer/creator. Amazing product.

This is a very nice brush, great design all the way around. Bought to replace one where the ends were breaking off after 10 years.

I like this brush. It's gentle on my scalp and has a good quality. I am glad I picked up this one over regular pins.

Don't buy this. Spend the money for a better brand. The bristles are hard. The hairbrush is undersized and just feels cheap.
